Now I know 100 %, you have a huge AD unlock bug after making SSM locked today as I've had 40+ chapters in the middle re-locked and to unlock them you want 17-19 ss when I used ad's to unlock them

as it happens I always believed you should off course make money as the ad unlock was a great idea as I used it for 99% of the time on SSM and the others listed below,
I even bought and sat on stones for over a year before I could start gifting to SSM due to all the website and app due ,,, I remind you about your CSR comment above in the meantime I have bought other stones to unlock things like TKA / RTW
and other books but ones I could use ad's to unlock I always did

now about my comment as to why i can say i logged in every day apart from maybe 1-2 due to illness
i started to joke about with the SSM team ie before Subudai11 changed his handle to AL_Squad as I said to them I was bored with just saying thank you in the normal way, so every few days I used to use google 's tl tool too say it in languages from around the world like those 2 screen pic's

so I got to know our little SSM sect very well inc when

not being shown on the historical account pages I even said it really should be added I commented in here in a post and on you webnovel page, then being told it was too hard....once again please read your own CSR's word about having the best coders

@CKtalon ok i've had a lot on but those are the novels we spoke about and you said a dev can check past ie past that cut of date aftr that 6mths

1: The Nine Cauldrons I've got locked and unlock all over the place and there is no way I'd unlock 1 chapter then miss 3-4 then unlock 2/3, then miss 5-7 only to unlock few odd chapters yet again ..sorry but no way that would happen and I know I did stop i think about 120-30 due to cost but before that i used adds and freestones

so it proves without a problem, your system upgrade did screw up chapters due to ads and some freestones

there are a few other novels but they should also show up as you check as i have over 25-30 ,
some fully finished and they aren't a problem but others are

I've read comic's / manga novels jp/cn/kr's for over 30yrs+ and i work in IT building and fixing servers and o/s ..... and there is no way you or the devs can tell me there isn't a problem

it's your system that's screwed up but I think we're well past that point I think as there is no way it's a mistake on my side and it's been happening to everyone ............ not just me and the dog as I've been saying for ages now
i do have other photos but i'm going to try and save some space or myself and the dog would be able to get out of the forums
now it'sa really easy to check my story or info as i said i used to talk to the teams all the time and others who only read that book

as i pointed out in my other post , the EU / GDPR dosen't like data problems with peoples info even if you servers run of Tencent's main ip in china ,
in fact your not even GDPR ready to dor compliance if your trading in the EU as google just found out and a few other companys are about too
now i'm happy to help you as i said i'm 99% sure it's due to a code mistake when dealing with the ad/ video unlocks,
i did post in here and make apost in the webnovel facebook page pointing out they is a problem with the stsrem and even said why do you add them and got told you can , we'll once again i point you towards the 1st pick and comment and the fact you hopsted and based in Tencents HQ ie china's biddist internet company

the last thing i'll all is that their afew more novel that i didn't list due to time and was in a CBA mood , but would like those missing chapters back , as their is no way you can say this is working ,

Dr_Zombie it's a lag bug it seems, as I just pasted it unchanged and it all works, if you can read that 1st pic its a qi CSR going on about how great the web guys are ...lol

I've now found even more missing chapters in books I look at and even took screen pics off, 5 days ago and webnovel is saying there is no problem

this is total insanity I can't look at the others or I may lose it in rage mode yet again

it's due to the fact they forgot how the rolling ad system worked + staff being replaced that didn't how it worked I found out last week after shouting about it in the forums for a good from weeks, as I've been rowing about this for some time now ,
they have in fact replied to my emails and I'm in the middle of talking to them but I did leave a week out due to the lunar holiday as the staff were off which to be fair to qi they did say and didn't hide the fact
, I got an email back today asking for my id and list again even though I did send it with photos, but the odd thing is some answers they want I can't give due to their mistakes ..so this weekend email will be fun

read it all mostly the end comments by qi's admin are were the real answers come in to play when he points out about the rolling ad system and the fact they forgot about it etc

Pizz It's not really that they forget how they work. The person dealing with this matter is a new hire, so she's obviously not aware of the past policies. There are people of course who know of it, but the fact of the confusing rolling unlock might not be apparent unless you think very carefully of it. As of now, nothing is wrong, so I'm not sure what you are trying to get on about.

You didn't watch the ad/pay 4SS back then, the chapters will be locked. Simple as that. No amount of EU laws you throw will be useful.

Just tried with a new account and chapters locked for SSM start at 51. Which is where mine starts. Mine ends at chapter 84 with everything else unlocked. Now if I am following this correctly, I somehow spent over 1600 SS on the 400+ chapters since by using the skip ad with 4 SS button. Wow, I must be such a valued customer if so.

oh and oddly I can even find the date I used the qi app and loaded it as its listed on google play as I was slamming you as the 1st release has huge problems due to the amount of data it was mining

Pizz Seriously? You are still harping on SSM? Every book locks chapters at different numbers. 100 is just a general rule of thumb, not the absolute.

Ads only got introduced 31 July 2017/early Aug 2017. That doesn't mean the ads for SSM was turned on during that period. It was a staged rollout for different books back then.

That means there is NO WAY for you to watch an add to unlock anything from Chapter 51 up to wherever the book actually started having ads, which is why they are locked.

Your date of 08/09/2017 of TKA matches that, as I said, ads started rolling out around 31 July/early Aug. So that's why there aren't any records for you because there was just no transactions possible prior to that.

You will need to provide proof of any inaccurate storage of data if you want to put up your claim. Just "I remember" "I think" doesn't count.

My point here is that I'm using facts to determine why it's impossible for you to have chapters unlocked which you keep erroneously imagining that you unlocked them simply from your memory of something that happened 1.5 years ago.

CKtalon and in your own words in here your system is screwed by the rolling ad system,
it's not only ssm but its the only real reason I bothered to spend money on your company but after looking at the xls file and as it happens i know where I was for the last 2 years plus ...
working from home after an op and not even leaving my house,
so at 4/5pm most days unless I was remotely working on the same pc ..
i would be logged in to this site reading or remotely working on my hosting server on my pc

so please don't give me that you don't know where you were 1.5 yrs ago,
unhappily I 100% know where I was and still there due to the recovery time

The system isn't screwed up. It's just the way it is. People who supported early on have the chapters unlocked for them permanently. Those who just read without making any transaction didn't do much. What they do beyond the reading activity is beyond the scope of this conversation.

The fact that you stay at home all day really isn't proof that you actually did an unlock either. Were you reading the same books every single day. Or were you saying, "I'll put book A on hold, I'll read book B,C,D,E,F,... today"

So after saying all that you've done, what do you exactly want? Brownie points to have those chapters unlocked? I've done way more for Webnovel, and I also have the same chapters locked. It's all about fairness to all. If you want, you could become a Facebook moderator and gain free SS. It's really up to you.

But you keep wavering between "My memory is definitely right/data is wrong" and agreeing that it was the way the ad system worked that screwed you. I have no idea what's the point. The system is working as it is.
