        True, stories with these plots are oversaturated on here. They're popular, winning formulas. Otherwise, the top 100 powerstone rankings wouldn't be completely dominated by them.
        There are some good stories that don't follow any of these tropes; however, they don't get the exposure or viewership they might deserve.

        If you click on the book icon next to each title, it brings you to that Webnovel, so you can read the synopsis to decide whether it interests you. At the very least, it gives you an idea of how well-written and thought out the plot and characters are, even if the arching theme (like cultivation) isn't original of itself. Hope that helps.                   Veronica8 yup, the sad and painful truth. I've read a lot of interesting novels with different ideas though, but after around ch 50-100, the plot will reconnect to the main skeletal work of Xianxia, system, gaming or makjang drama.

                    ImBloo Thanks so much for pointing that out! I noticed at one point that my copy and paste wasn't refreshing, so I tried reviewing the links, but it seems I missed some still. I also caught another link error today when I reviewed again; the links of several stories on the Surprise+Library section got put all into one! I don't even know how that happened since the underlining looked fine the other day; not to mention, it was all individually put in, so how it all got highlighted into one link is strange. WordPress be glitching on me.

                    I'll have to extra careful now; otherwise, redoing all the links again because they somehow got highlighted into one is a pain.

                                darkstar123 Read Lord of Mysteries. It is pretty well written so far. The pace is slow compared to most webnovels and pretty different level of story writing. Actually, all of that authors novels are pretty good. Like Throne of Magical Arcana. Pretty different from your usual webnovels. Don't know why his novels aren't more popular, guess people don't like slow pace and good story writing. They want insta power up OP mc slapping the shit out of everything and a heap of moronic characters throwing themselves infront of his palm to be slapped from all web novels i guess...

                                    If you are looking for a romance, adventure, fantasy, weak to strong, you could try my novel. The beginning writing was a bit rough, but since I publish daily, I don't have time to go back and fix the older ones as of now. I started it as a romance, but then decided around chapter 100 that I wanted to break away from that a bit and do more adventure. It does still explore the different types of love that exist though.
