SnowDrop_ easy solution: type your story out on a google docs. :/ the webnovel editor is trash, so only use it to upload your chapters. you shouldn't rely on it (or in fact, any editor in general. typing out your stories on google docs or microsoft word is a much smarter choice)

SnowDrop_ If you're typing for a long time and don't refresh the page while saving in between then the page will be too old and it'll need to be refreshed to continue working on it. I suggest don't use it to type your stories and use something else.

I actually like inkstone when it does this because it sometimes makes me do a rewrite that'a better.

SnowDrop_ I know a guy who lost 20k+ words due to his computer going bonkers on a story he had been working on for two weeks. He was devastated and stopped writing for an entire year. Always have multiple backups and if you ever suffer such a blow, just do what you do best to distract yourself, clear your thoughts, and come back fresh.
