Sdir well for my personal opinion. It just feel weird reading that kind of novels tho I can tolerate it if it have a interesting storyline but mostly novel today is using the same old storyline

fabrayist yeah bro a good storyline can indeed can distract you from that .for example against the gods is my all time favourite novel but only shortcomings I find in it is that it is harem.
I guess authors tend to add harem in to the mix is because when mc get powerful his present girl tend to fall behind but if you could add a girl like Jasmin in atg to be only girl from beginning to the end there will be no such problem like girl falling behind mc .well its only my personal opinion

Sdir I have nothing against harem, but most I read fullfilled every cliché possible. They seem more like empty wishfulfilling where the girls either had no personallity or seemingly only joined because the guy is the MC etc. It gets tiring.

_Lakmal_ hi "Top" is a very subjective. some people will give OP arrogant MC tramples world 4-5 stars while others 1-2. same novel. if you lay down speicific ideas/criteria at least some of the replies will be helpful.

Just curious...how many partners would qualify as "harem"? Anything past 1 partner? I personally don't mind harem so much but I also hate that ONLY 1 partner unless the author writes it that way. There are a few good novels out that cater to that style which is fine. I personally dislike the novels where the main character only has 1 person in their mind but the author goes out of his way to make a bunch of women fall in love with him only to be rejected or ignored after they try so hard to get his attention.
