Yeah I use novelupdates to. I started some new novels there since this site doesn't want us here...
If webnovel used ads and banners and increase our reading time (less costs for stones/ membership/... ) they would make so much money. But they think they don't need us and so they don't need our money. I don't know where they learned this business behaviour and such a bad customer service. Maybe they can work like that on the chinese market but I don't think they can stay long on the world market. At least europe has a higher standard.

    I don't see why they want to piss off the western market... We are a bunch of people who dont like getting screwed over and this kind of silent treatment bullsh*t that happens in China doesnt fly here. The Silence just pisses us off more.

    I just find it funny you're looking for more money, when plenty of site will repost it, getting ad rev, and we read for free. Tbh the premium membership was the best way to support it without breaking the bank, guess I'll read copy sites until it's back

    I've dropped 0 novels .... I just don't read then here anymore. With as much as I read it's just stupid to pay this much for stones.

    Still no new membership? No status update on why this is taking so long?

    Btw the new interface changes in the ios app are also a pain in the a** to navigate within an open novel...

    This is getting worse and worse with every week i m waiting ...

    I'm a person who never buys ss because I feel like the # of ss for the price isn't worth it. If they lowered the ss price, that would be fine. I was a little disappointed when I found out about the subscription was cancelled because I was planning on getting it but it was already discontinued. Overall I feel like that if they want to make people still buy ss after subscribing give them limited unlocks and make the ss cheaper.

    When will you return the elite membership? I’m spending more $$$$ I give gifts to the authors since previously I got a lot of SS 😪😪😪

      PS now I’m only reading 1 or 2 books I can’t support my other favorite author 😪😪😪

      I am seriously considering leaving this site. Its so unfair.

      Paying for spirit stones when some of the chapters are downright shitty and just fillers... not fair.

      Id rather pay my $5 dollars per book at kindle and get the right quality of work.... after all some of the greedy authors still sale their much more refined work (refined through our own comments) in kindle much cheaper than when purchased through spirit stones.

      I feel taken advantage of, and i am not happy at all... totally not happy.

      Shame on you all who facilitated this.

      I have always been for using official source so that I can support authors, provided I get for me acceptable reading in return. I feel that it is impossible for me here on webnovel now, so I go elsewhere. I just can't read comfortably here with those prices - free stones barely cover one novel and buying them is just rip-off. Premium subscription was still acceptable even though it wasn't cheap, cause I could at least read how much I wanted.
      I would be glad to return if there is some acceptable form of premium subscription, provided I don't get used to reading elsewhere in the meantime.
