I’m averaging 15-20 mins reading compare to my over 600+ mins before. If it wasn’t for two original stories I follow on wn I would have left a long time ago. So tired of how they treat their customers.
After the membership ended I went from reading 20+ novels to 2 novels. I went from reading over 1000+ minutes in a week to barely 30 mins. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
I hope everyone on this thread has given them a review on google play or app store. I’m assuming they been paying for fake 5 star reviews to bury all the negative reviews they’d been getting.
Webnovel really working hard to quell the rising negative reviews on app store. Been seeing a bunch of 1 star reviews from frustrated customers on the app store. But now there’s a rise of clearly fake 5 star reviews.
Said it before and will continue saying it so that this thread could stay at the top. Give webnovel 1 star review on app store/google play. Its the only way they’ll probably start listening to their customers.
I’ll say this again, rate them poorly on the app store/google play! I been seeing a bunch of 1-2 star reviews recently about these same issues which is great. But now I also see fake 5 stars reviews that you can tell are probably by Webnovel staff. Take a moment to rate them because that’s probably the only way we can get their attention.
I suggest users to go on google play/app store and give webnovel a review so that other users can beware of other problems. Also it’ll lower their stars. Maybe a bunch of negative reviews will finally get their attention.

I see a lot of unofficial translations here at webnovel. I’m surprise WN hasn’t banned those accounts. I wonder if those users try to amass enough followers and then ask for “donations” for their work. I wouldn’t support unofficial translations because that’s unfair to the author.

I'm having the same dilemma right now. I'm also using webnovel as a starting point for my writing so I quickly picked a cringy title. But now I really want to change the title of my novel. I'm okay with the cover though. Did you change the title of your novel?
I always skip the fanfics because i dont think they should be group with originals. If i wanted to read fanfics i would go to fanfiction. But I’m curious are there actually contracted fanfic stories here in webnovel?? Are authors really making money off a fanfic novel here?! I thought that was illegal?
