Another company that is continuously dissapointing its readers!!!

    They obviously do not care about their user base and are only in the business to squeeze you dry using spirit stones. It is honestly sad that I need to spend hundreds of dollars to catch up on novels that are so filled with grammatical errors and plot holes. Apparently there are books with thousands of chapters and they become locked like 100 chapters in? What even is that calculated wise? Say each chapter is between 6-8 spirit stones, not increasing at all like I know they do, then lets say the chapters that are locked is set to ... 1400 chapters.

    So, math wise: 6(1400) = 8400 spirit stones| 7 (1400) = 9800 spirit stones| 8(1400) = 11200 spirit stones

    8400+9800+11200 = 29400 / 3 = 9800 spirit stones on average if the chapters vary between 6-8 spirit stones per purchase.

    Now, calculating the price of the spirit stones if you were to buy them as you go, disregarding discounts due to special events and the such:

    3250 spirit stones costs roughly 50 USD, going off of this, you can combine this together 3 times, 3250+3250 = 6500+3250 = 9750 spirit stones for 150 dollars. If you wanted to get it all though, add an extra dollar for exactly 50 more spirit stones, equaling out to 9800 spirit stones.

    So, in order to read the latest chapters of a 1500 chapter book with it being deadlocked after the first 100 chapters, you would need to pay upwards of 150 dollars in order to even catch up. This is not mentioning other chapters. Now, multiply this for every single novel you read. More than likely, most of the readers have dozens of novels that they are reading, The price gets exponentially higher for each novel you read.

    Then factor in the absurdity that the spirit stones seem to be random to unlock a chapter, one may be of the same length as the previous chapter, word for word HOWEVER, the first one only costs 8 spirit stones, whereas the second costs 11. It makes no sense, unless somehow the author changes it himself, which I highly doubt.

    Anyway, rant done. If you are looking for somewhere to read, I know that there is RR or RoyalRoad, I am unsure as to other sites, but I have heard WuxiaWorld is good.

      I have now less than 1hour of reading on the app in the past week. It not that i don't have ss (at 6k) but i dont like to be played as a fool and will continue to go see the alternatives until the price are ajusted or a subscription that make sense is added.

      WataNpiya I knew they would take it down in GravityTales... I was cursing those people giving energy stones for it. I hate this company. Would some gang member readers 'rough up' the CEOs of this company if they are in your country?

            Well i have just thought of something by going through the forum for once... after that elite membership fiasco was the last tgif of making some novels free for a limited amount of time their great brilliant plan of damage control with us complaining about elite membership's assasination and them playing dead? Did they think we'd actually let the matter go?

            I am buying too much ss just to read the novels I like and before I was able to save and buy your subscription you suddenly remove it. You should identify which novels are liked more by the public then you compensate them as such. You don't just distrubte to every writers the money taken from subcriptions, instead you should have it monitored in such a way that once a reader reads through a writer's novel (how long spent on reading or how many chapters were read, etc..) then that means you compensate them accordingly.

            Do update this thread soon since everyone here is getting frustrated with your decision making skills solely based on profits!

            And also, the cost of your recent reads per chapter is way too high and more expensive than regular books, which makes it so unreasonably priced! A 6,7,8 ss per chapter is so bad that I can only read 3 chapters for free and almost only 5 chapters if I buy the first type of ss option! Even the first monthly subscription is actually pretty high to start with!

            It was already over priced and I still went for it. Then you guys became so greedy and blamed it on authors. At least you should be informing the customers via mail or something. SHAME SHAME SHAME

            Between readlightnovel, wuxiaworld, and boxnovel I'm not missing anything 🤷. Also webtoon, mangatoon, and mangarock have tons more comics. Check em out if you're getting frustrated here!

              Gintoh Same here. I like to support authors and translators but as long as webnovel is like this I'll stop supporting. I am now back to 1 novel and I read the novel only here because it is an original.

                  Angko same here. I read 1 storg here because it is only here. But it updates so infrequently that it hardly counts
