  • 【Important Announcement】Monthly Elite subscriptions adjustment

I'm a traveling service tech, I work all over the USA. Now that the membership is gone this app tends to be lacking as I can unlock chapters or download in advance while I'm on a plane. I ask that this be brought back, as it's unfair to the members who support web novels. Your membership was one of the few reasons I decided to stay as I was spending well over 100$ a month before to read the books I liked. Now with the membership gone why would I want to stay, I give freely my SS and I spread my gifts to all my authors. I feel as members we have been jipped.

So you explained why you discontinued the monthly membership, I don't like it. The reason I signed up for the membership was because I was reading four novels and three comics at a time averaging six to nine chapters a day, it saved me money. However, today when I opened my novels and comics I realized that the system locked me out of the chapters that I read under my membership - taking me back to the last chapter prior to joining the membership - so that you know, this is total bullshit I shouldn't have to use my ss to unlock what I already paid for. Unlock what I paid for.

roseblossom some novels can increase your blood pressure and some has grammatical mistakes here and there. But if you're lucky, uou can find gems there

      Well, i dropped quite a lot of novels especially those full of fillers. Maybe time to go back to paperback and finish my to read list? Although i am the kind doesnt mind spend money for reading but tp spend ss for fillers? Hmm... I need to think about this carefully

      I got about the same feeling, most of u guys got .. I have to choose wich books I'm gona read. To be honest it was probably cheaper for me personaly to pay a monthly subscription than to pay for them with spirit stones ( not sure) but I had atleast the feeling to read whatever I want and when I want ... now its like I am put to a wall and u can read just theese fk the rest and u can't try any new type of books else u have to pay more .. so I wont even try to read new stuff , I think with this quidan might lose money BUT its just my toughts . If posible please bring back the monthly subsciption TY .

Tbh it was the first time i ever felt that the app was reasonable, charging almost $35 at where i am at for me to read all dem premiums for the entire month. But just when i thought that this Elite Membership thing is going to be there forever, i am informed that it's just Beta? Now i have to purchase a huge sum of Stones just to read my favourite novels again and to unlock their new chapters Just for awhile? Kinda unreasonable especially when we bought the stones and unlocked the chapters already. I get that the authors are getting paid lesser because of the membership but what about the readers? Do you guys ever read the comments we make?

        I put them an awful 1 stars on Google play, Please all of you down-rate them on the app providers, that may help them to change their mentality

          LordKBX I would gladly do it on apple store too however, the last comment available on apple store is from end of March. I HIGHLY doubt that no one wrote a bad comment on the different App Store available after the monthly membership was cancelled, as such they are most probably « deleting » these comments and ratings... Morever, there are only 83 grading shown ~ sooooo ..... ಠ_ರೃ

            I will say this is probably the worst / best thing that has happened to you and us readers in a long time i whent from reading about 1200-1500 minutes a week over to barely reaching 60 since last reset atleast i have alot off free time now and its all thanks to author that complain about us readers not getting enough money when the are putting forth badly edited chapters thatcarent worth paying for

            Are you guys referring to those author's that didn't get anything in first place or those who are at the peak. Probably the later one. Doesn't really matter, I'll stick to my handful of novel, don't need overpriced sub nor extra SS, got tired of cn-novel a while ago. Thanks to crappie author's and translators....

            well, I'm just going to stop reading till they put the service back. It'll be a nice break from reading. When the subscription comes back, I can at least binge read and not get caught in cliff hangers!

              I was looking for Elite member button when I arrived here. Just curious why my subscription is ended.. Please release the program early!! My SS is zero now >..< Struggling between reading my novel or gifted the author

              I don't mind buying the SS (eventhough it was freaking expensive) BUT it keeps charging me when I want to go back re-read previous chapter, which I have brought T-T Please, bring back the subscription~~

              Can I just buy the books I’m interested in?? If it’s completed why can’t I just purchase the entire version? If the subscription doesn’t come back and no reasonable options pop up then I will unfortunately have to quit using this app. I have spent over $50 in ss in the past two weeks alone on one book(and I was trying to read slowly). I understand that authors and translators should be compensated for their work but this is kind of ridiculous.

              If you do the math, the story I was reading has over 2000 chapters (this is more than the average on this site usually), on the cheap end let’s assume that each chapter is 4ss (pretty sure that it’s at 11ss, but let’s pretend). That means it costs 8000ss to read the novel. At 1200ss for $20, that’s a little over 6 payments (you can do slightly more ss for $50 but that’s besides the point). This means that if I want to read the entire novel, it will cost me over $120. Sorry, but as much as I love to read, that is not ok. Especially when I am reading multiple novels at once.

                Sad to hear this. Any format except "subscription" is doomed to fail. I hope you reinstate this program. Also, have a pricing which matches the country.

                Wow, didn’t know about this at all until I tried to read my chapters this morning. I have no idea where this info was posted, there should have been a large window pop-up to tell me. Guess I will be like others and have to cut down severely on my reading here.

                @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL @Webnovel_Staff I love how many negative comments there are here and yet no response of reassurance by any staff members at all or update on what's going on. Idk about anyone else but I'll be recommending everyone i know away from this app and I am uninstalling I cant afford this shit.

                  The funny thing is that on Google play they still say you can subscribe for elite subscription. Also the newest feedback is from march I wonder why...

                  In just the last 4 months alone i have purchased 25,400 SS... Well. That is over 500$, i also had the subscription which saved a ton of $... I am done spending money on excessively over priced materials

                    This is the last straw. Started lots of new novels, but no, I will never be purchasing SS again. New novels = dropped. Old novels get the free SS, and maybe I'll purely accidentally check out other websites' free translations when those run out.

                    Before the subscription plan I would buy ss and didn't mind too much but now after having the 25$ a month plan taken away I'm just feeling annoyed with the site. 25 a month is enough to pay for Netflix and Hulu and they say they were losing money how much would another subscription cost assuming they even make one like they say.

                    Chryiss I feel exploited. Every book I read was set back a chapter when my elite membership was revoked and I ended up paying 7 spirit stones and 10 spirit stones to unlock chapters I had already read. They need to keep a read history and an unlock history if they plan to keep switching everything around!

                        If this is the standard of this forum, after not stating anything after almost 500 complains, just what kind of image are you guys trying to give people.

                        You seem to clearly have no regards to the clients, utterly a disappointment. I've been a avid reader on this app, but not getting a single reply to this Post is utterly ludicrous. No regards for the clients complaints. I've been on a few forums but this is just to hilarious for words, seeing nothing replied to.

                            Can u pls return when we can read more than a hundred chaps before entering premium or when we watch the video we can still have 8-16 SS same as the daily gift? Too bas its getting expensive for the chaps to open though some may not bother but what about me? Or Us?
