The10thCrow Although I am a female, I do agree with you. Female-oriented novels are just a carbon copy of each other and that makes me sick of it already.
The end of Webnovel and the start of Wattpad 2
Rhueless you are the exception not the rule
FleetingClouds because nothing happens instantly. The take over is gradual.
Angelyay thats the fuxking thing sure some female read male oriented books. SOME! THE THING IS AN OVERWHELMING MAJORITY DONT! WHAT THE MINORITY THINKS DOES NOT MATTER! WHY! WHY! DO I MUST KEEP REPEATING MYSELF!
IF YOUR GIRL AND READ MALE ORIENTED BOOKS
I T. DOES. N. O. T. MA. TT. ER
Mute because female read them. Their are more female readers overall.
The10thCrow I’m done being nice now, do u not understand? The world doesn’t go ur way, it goes in the majorities’ way, it’s not like all female oriented books are bad (although many are really similar but there are good ones out there) and please don’t think a book is bad just because it’s female oriented Just because things aren’t going the way you would’ve liked it doesn’t mean you should hate them and although there are plenty of female oriented books, webnovel/qidian as a company wouldn’t be as stupid as to decrease male oriented books too much of an extent in case of backfire and such
They will at least be trying to make them more or less equal, but if you aren’t convinced yet then I guess... you can just do what you want and I’ll do what I want

Oh look, the boy doesn't want to share the playground with the girls. Boohoo!
Webnovel releases one male-lead and one female-lead per week. Male-lead books already have an advantage over the female-lead books, having been the majority of translated works from the beginning. I don't know what you're complaining about as there has been no decrease in the number of books being released "for guys," and if you're complaining about a decrease in quality, don't blame that on the females and on what they read. Blame it on management and the translators and editors. It's not like the female-lead books are top quality anyway.
The influx of females here made the market expand. It didn't limit your choices, it's just that your taste is not the taste of the majority anymore. The books that you read are still there. If they ever disappear, then it would be because those kinds of books don't get enough suppport, and that would not be the fault of the females but the fault of supposed fans who didn't show their support.
Take the translator of LOHP and The Beautiful Time With You: he posted on TBTWY that he would be focusing more on LOHP because that's what pays the bills for him. So I don't know what you're on about that translators will be neglecting "male-oriented" books just because there are now more "female-oriented" books and more females here. If a story is good and people support it, translators won't drop it in favor of something else (there could be other reasons for dropping but certainly not what you were implying).
Basically, money speaks, and if you're really that concerned, then open your wallet and let it speak. It's not as simple as supply and demand. As long as there is a market, no matter whether it's niche or mainstream, minority or majority, someone will serve it. And qidian will not be foolish enough to get rid of the male market as long as it is profitable. That's the reality of life. Stop blaming the females. It's funny because at the same time you say it does not matter if a female reads a male-oriented book. Basically you want males to be alone in this. You want webnovel to be the playground of men like you think it used to be. Things change, and women make up half of the world population. Deal with it.

Angelyay I stopped reading those CEO type novels. Even I was getting those CEO type novels.
Honestly, the CEO is an employee of the company. How can he have mansions to live in and private army and huge cars? Does Web novel think we females are dense? So I started writing my own novel. The main character is female but my novel is for everyone.
The10thCrow That i do not believe.
RenuKakkar i too am tired of ceo novels and all the transmigration stuff so i invented an idea
the fl cross to another dynasty and meets the person of whom she'll assume her identity. the person she meet is about to die and tell her all she knows before dying. so fl who looks exactly as the deceased continue living with the deceased's identity. and there also something like---the fl is thrown out of her home and divorced. she has nothing but after meeting a good guy she rises to fame but her ex becomes her driver when things become bad for him. i think novels like this are ok. every time i see ceo novels i wanna retch.
Demonslayer007 Really.... I'm getting tired of reading female oriented books coz to me, the storyline are all the same. Except for one I can across recently "the numbers that brought our fate together". Some male oriented books still have some twist and turns in it on like the female's own which just comprises of "face slapping" and " scheming"... But some male oriented books can be boring sometimes, so I just hope they can keep things in check where both can be supplied when needed.
Chryiss I agree with you
RenuKakkar Lol... Sometimes when I read them, I do wish things are like that in really life where I can get married to one of th the CEOs And please most of this stories only focus on Asian characters and imaginary countries like Country C, Country A and so on. What happened to the real countries on Earth. C'mon, no one will penalize you if you use a real country from around the globe...
LIght_Novel_San Totally sick
Resplendently except for country c. :-P
The10thCrow If this happen, I think I need to switch to another websites. We're at endgame now!
DsNtRecognizeMtTai Which site? Lol
Resplendently I'm also one of the authors who use imaginary countries in my novel. Personal experience... it's a hassle to google the name/layout/looks of the places within our country haha. I mean, if my setting is in a hotel, (since I'm someone who rarely goes out and has little knowledge of place in my own city), it's a hassle to google up a place suitable. I'm also lazy to research how it is used, what are the rules there. Plus it's a bother once someone who really knows the place protested saying it's not matching up. So just make up something, and for complete convenience, go the extra mile and invent the whole setting! XD

Resplendently Same, and using single letters as names of countries and cities are a mild pet peeve of mine in stories. It messes up the world building and immersion experience for me...
