So I broke what I said I wasn’t going to do and bought some SS to catch up on my favorite novel. I spent 25 dollars. I had 70 chapters saved up. I just finished and checked my SS total and I only have 200 left. How in the world is this even remotely financially possible for quidian to think this is fair? It’s insane. Give us some type of subscription model!! Until then I’m sorry to some of my
Favorite novels I simply can’t keep up with the cost @KillerHemboy
Cost of novels
I hear you...I'll be looking forward to your return when the SS gods grace you with more :D
KillerHemboy Your book is incredible! I really wish I had the money to keep up! Keep going!

Squish Thank you so much! Roger wilco :)
Chinese authors earn a lot in china.
YuushaExa so do American authors who use patreon and then do an Amazon kindle novel. The authors who make tons of money are in the minority and half your rights and money are signed away. Most webserial writers release all content for free and money is made via patreon and a fanbase purchasing books from Amazon to support authors.
I admit that I just spent $25 to read about 10-15 chapters of my fav novel. Would MUCH RATHER buy something that I could reread after. Worried that I will have to pay again for that also.
Sephiry Actually, last I checked, best selling kindle authors made around $5k a year on average. I haven't seen their patreon numbers, however, on webnovel at least, it's clear patreon doesn't work out. I suspect the culprit is the already crushing ss cost. Imho, most people with bucks to spare are already spending too much on the website to afford supporting authors on patreon.
