I'm reading pursuit of the truth since 3 to 4mont ago. I've read every chapter and pay for it (using my free ss and purchase some to continue). Today, I paid to unlock the new chapter and by inadvertance, I've looked some old chapters... I can't read them. I have to unlock them again but I've bought them 2 to 3month ago.
Is it theft or not?!
Is qidian stealing us?
At most, it would be called fraud, but I am pretty sure everything is written in the AGB or smth which you had to accept before paying for spirit stones.
DaoSeeking393 It's not fraud or theft. It's you not knowing what you are signing up for. Free ss don't permanently unlock chapters. Only paid ss do so. The chapters you're referring to must have been unlocked with free ss.

BlissfulDeath Free SS unlock permanently. The problem DaoSeeking393 is facing is that he read it back when the chapters didn't need unlocking. Being able to read it for free (without actually unlocking) doesn't give him a permanent unlock.
Since it's 3-4 months ago, DaoSeeking393 should have records showing the unlocks. Please provide the evidence that you unlocked them in your records and that they are now locked.

As far as the rules go, relocking of SS-unlocked chapters seems to be a regular glitch rather than on purpose.

no, the fact is they forgot how their own system worked ie the rolling ad paywall as admitted by an admin( in a huge and long-running battle, and yeah I haven't forgotten my paper works in but the ico in the eu a have a backlog ck) in here and will not fix or give back stuff you did fairly unlocked via it ... but then again I'm starting to think how long will wn in fact last ..

Yet in china they just had about 20 writers banned so far, forced to delete huge bits of their main site of comments and hasn't been releasing chapters in the last 24hrs ...

You are seriously misinformed about the ban. Chapters are still being released on Qidian, etc. Having 20 writers banned out of thousands to tens of thousands is nothing.
Go ahead and deal with your EU stuff. You really have no case.
you have 1000's but you can't even keep release rates up apart from a few novels on this site, more and more people leaving ,a post of a 1k+ and no staff even talking to people, you really are a frog in a well , maybe say something to be when you can keep tl teams, in fact, releasing novels on time and if your doing so well why did you release that doc asking people to try and get works off other sites offering ss codes , you really do think people are dumb , its all just more bad pr building up more and more you laughable if you can't see that , your last update to the website wiped all my comments and chats out plus i know its not just me as i check in a few other sites and forums ...go in fact do something useful and fix your broken site as they are lots just looking at your burning ...or at least release some novels that you as in qi own as i can name a min 10 with no releases or even comments as to why they've stopped and they where all in the top 50+

lol you say that for a novel that had a team working and we're loved and was in the top 40-50 each week and I know 4 of us ie the readers we're gifting between us 1500+ ss each week to them on top of unlocking with free + bought stones...then with only 180 chapters left to the end of the novel , team gone / no comments / then only 2 chapters releases in 7-9 weeks...... if it is due to market expansion why not get them to finish those last 180 chapters then, it would have totally freed up a team? hmm now that is the real way to deal with it as you would have had us buy more stones ( which makes you more money over the subs system as I buy them which is better, as I do over time spend more = more money to you ) to use as gifts and then you'd have a book finished and fully free team .... think about it ... you would have made more money and not pissed a lot of people off ... its common sense pity doesn't seem to work here .... oh and when is you oh so great web devs going to fix the inbox bug on the website that effects others not just me ... as I've now lost everything inc my dates I bought stones comments from chapters, at least you got the app 90% to be good as i can still see them there, but how many ago years I can go back to when you had CSR's going we have the best coders from Tencent ( with screen pics to back that comment up) and the app beta testing and when you had to remove it from google store etc
Oddly I don't, in fact, want you to fail as a site unlike a huge amount of others in here but it gets really boring when for 4 years plus starting the count from when you started all those claims in the novel updates forums, you still can't get some of the most basics things right
it may have been a better idea to buy a pre-made e-comm website and app template . like when the hell are we going to get a basic chat system between people

CKtalon dudde. Heres the simple truth. Allot of good novels are droped. While theres allot trash novels every month putted on. Like for example. For me its 3 novels, one at 600+chapter droped down- no anouncment,nothing. When you read book. You take book which first of all you can finish. Not talking about first 10-50chapters when drop. But 200-700chapters. Like in middle. When are already spended money to read. As its almost direct pay place. Did witchunt some years ago. Almost destroying translator comunity. But now it happens itself in qidian. Im pointing at piracy and legal. As i pay i could pay money for reading. But thing is. Even me who says you can hate or love to read book, depends what genre of book you like- that theres allot trash novels here. While masterpieces are dropping off like cabbages.

I had the some problem where the novel the trial marriage from chapter 400 ish to chapter 470 at least were locked again! I was told to snapshot my consume history, but unfortunately, the history only showed till dec 2018. Before that they told.me that I maybhave unlocked during the promo time or something where some chapters are free. As far as I remember, there is no such thing for the trial marriage novel. The purchases of those chapters happened before dec. So now waiting for the admin to response.
manna1412 the only keep a 6mth history and when you get it worthless ..and I seemed to be the only one ever to have managed to get one as pics show in a diff post ..don't believe a word from that email, they will answer it by asking the same id and what novel do you have a problem is i have 16+ back and forwards ones
