      I find this post rather misleading, true there will be premium option but it is for binge readers, many "off grid" sites do this, pay royalty for few more chapters per release. If you can contain your inner demons and chill out till next release you will have another couple of chapters for free. That simple. Another thing to note is the " ad/ spirit stone cultivation, as ive understood you can watch ads to build up spirit stones for further reading... And tell me. In what way is this paywall? It is maybe a smokescreen that you need to wait out to clear but it is not a damn WALL...

                      Adventsprayer Its the way they go about it. I wouldn't mind canceling all of my patreon donations and just buy a premium monthly membership on Qidian, but they are doing something very crappy to the customers. I made a long post about it, you can look it up.

                          ThornFlower 1$ for 50 SS is expensive as that only gets you 12 chapters and 12 chapters for a Chinese novel are basically just 1 chapter of content and 11 chapters of fillers. So yes, it's expensive if you consider the fact that you can get pretty good books in the store for 2-5$ with a hell lot more of actual content.
