It may reasonable for you, but others wont be able to affort it. Some just cant because of being a young teenager for example.

yup its reasonable price. i choose to support translator and author by buying the spirit stone. if you can't then you need to work hard to accumulate the spirit stone or read free chapter and wait for free premium chapter
Why the premium chapters have very2 different spirit stones? If it's 4 spirit stone per chapter that is good but for example RTW the spirit stones is 8 to 7 per chapter and MMORPG is even ridiculous priced for 13~18 spirit stone per chapter, 4 spirit stones is = $0.10 ~ $0.15 which is very good but 8 spirit stones even if it is not much if you calculate how many chapters you can read with, it's not very good for people that like to read novels just imagine if you got 1,000SS and the Premium chapter cost 8SS that 1,000SS only can let you read 125 chapter but if it cost only 4SS you can read 250 chapter, and if you read MMORPG you will be broke in a few dozens chapter which is not very good if you are active
Well. This is also why real money will be involved.
Imagine your mother working as an editor for QI. And QI cant pay because they let everyone read for free. So you dont get any allowance from your parents.
The situation is real. QI need money to survive.
So its better to accept the real money involvement and instead be an advocate for more options to earn SS.
So even ppl with financial öimitation can still earn enough SS.
Real money involvement wont go away. This is for sure.

I created an account here about two months ago. After I started reading two books I was really looking for a way to support the authors and translators. I really like this premium system, even without paying, the chapters go free at the usual time(almost.. I understand that it is a day later now) and if you use the spirit stones then you get few chapters in advance. I don't mind the price, I payed $10 and got 1500 stones. I'm used to paying for books that I read so I still find this really really cheap. (I'm from Romania if that matters)
I don't mind the 7-8 stones per chapters in RTW, but that's a book with really short chapters, I'm guessing that if a book like LoHP goes premium then it will cost at least 15-20stones per chapters, that's when I expect more complains.
so that almost 1 dollar is about 4-5 chapters. Well gee aren't web novels over 1000 chapters, so lets say your novel is 1000 chapters away from ending then that's. about $160-200$. You can pretty much buy a whole set of better novels for the price or even less than that.
Of course if you look at it from just a few chapters you won't see it, but as a whole it's not worth it.

For author, more ch = more money.
Thats why the novel we read always using repetitive plot........ And ofc, thausand ch's
We can see the difrnt frm other novel (non-web). So u can compare the price
Well, depends on the number of word per chapter. I dont mind how long premium chapter is, its a matter of give and take. They provide something to us and we support them, well it seems premium is reasonable, really...heard it... By myself

$1 is nothing much to some while to others, it is allot.
But take note, small amounts build up fast!
Currently, 50 spirit stones lets you read 12.5 chapters while for the Premium novels, it will vary from 7 (smallest amount for a P Novel is 7 SS (RTW)) to 2.6 chapters (most amount for a P Novel is 19 SS from MMORPG).
So depending on how much you read the safest bet is that you might be spending a dollar every alternate day.
a month has 30 days... so you spend $15 dollars a month.
That to me is too much xD
1) You do not need to pay continue reading your favorite novels; just to get chapters fast.
2) Webnovel is trying it's best to make this model of literature consumption a good deal for the authors, translators as well as devs
3) Regarding profit mining, how can filler exist if this is the canon material. Roundabout stories may simply be the author's writing style
4) I personally have not bought SS yet; but I appreciate the need for it as success of this platform hinges on return on investment and profit, let's be real.

Luofuchen Think about it from this perspective you spend all the money you can afford to and then you can’t buy anymore, no matter how much that is at some point you’re going to run out and if you cant afford anymore after that you’ll have to wait for the free chapters to catch up to where you are so is it really worth it unless your buying a decent amount I’m fine with supporting the authors I like but only with a system that doesn’t screw the people that can only afford a little amount of spirit stones.
Flajavsfdfsfdasin The huge issue is all premium novels had their release count drastically reduced. Immortal mortal for instance was a constant 14/week, now it's 7/week. That means it will take the free reader twice the amount of time to complete the novel
I love how this was all predicted by WW a year ago and they told the public they were not going to charge any money.... How little memory the people from internet has.
