Would You mind explaining how was the 84th ladder determined? There was a lot more novels taking part in it, so even if the placement is decided by the editors, shouldn't there be more winners?

        Nah, according to info we got from the Staff, they were considered trash (or rubbish to be perfectly on the spot). All top5 by votes were so bad they weren't allowed into the contest, while the winner's story don't even have 14 chapters and is discontinued since half a month ago. (why 14? that would mean that the author at least put an effort to update daily during the CONTEST)

        My guess is that either:
        - There were some problems with prompts (why no info about it then?)
        - Staff didn't just lash at us for some unknown reason and the stories really were trash
        - Wololololololo and the winner is a randomly chosen guy from the ranks
        - P2W
        - Some other possibilites that this humble author here has failed to consider.

          From what I saw in your (contest) book, you seem to have 2 others that you are working on, gotta say, thats impressive!

          But about the contest, Im sad that we didn't recieve any sorts of explanation.

              MotivatedSloth it's no trouble. I think I've got an idea of how you feel. Cheated perhaps. I haven't been online much because of certain domestic issues and I completely missed out on the opportunity to take advantage of what I still feel was luck.
              I don't know for sure how old webnovel is, but I know they're doing their very best. Even if I really wasn't supposed to win the contest, everyone makes mistakes and we've gotta cut wn some slack and appreciate however we can, I mean, they are offering an opportunity for writers all over the world to make something of themselves, I'm Nigerian so... Even though many opportunities like these exist out there, they often aren't available to me.

              So cheer up man! I took the time to read your work. You've got something of a gem right there and you've definitely got the motivation to build it up. 45 chapters in one month? Wow.
