as a fellow contracted author. I will review this book for myself and see. I'll be fair about it. But based on the synopsis, the title - and what I've heard so far my impression isn't good here.

OJROMANCE 😅 You've reviewed one of my books before. So I'd like to be fair here, but your replies to everyone have come across as rude. Negative reviews happen - the people here gave your book a chance. They don't like it. It would have looked better if you kept the review there. I know it looks bad for your stats - but you can't expect everybody to like your work. As a author you have to keep in mind people like different genres. They may or may not agree with what you've written.

Clowniac
I should start writing romance. I'm looking for an editor clown, you in?

    Clowniac
    Genre: Historical Romance
    Place: Korea
    Synopsis:
AhnAhn was royal property. A prize won when her father's coup against the emperor failed. Her mother and older brother were spared on one condition: if AhnAhn married the emperor's blind son Wulin.
Wulin was a curious young man, the product of the emperor and a concubine. He was pushed aside, forgotten and spurred by many within. But being the emperor's son, he was well trained in martial arts, his blindless amplifying his senses. He found his fun blending amoungst the common folk. Every night dressing up as a poor man, a common man, a noodle seller and the like.
Currently, he had the most fun disguising himself as a thief, he and his gang robbing carriages by candlelight.
Tonight, was the night AhnAhn would be delivered to the royal palace, and tonight AhnAhn's carriage was in his sights...

    Good, bad?

I have sent an email to WB and now I'm just waiting for a response back... If they even send one

Lilliny Aw, sorry. No, of course, you're not. Didn't I tell you about Fiverr? If you were chopped liver, I wouldn't have even bothered posting that suggestion

But tell you what, give me your discord link too, I'll see if there's something I could do.

Lilliny This reminds me of what happened with another author and his story (it's a cultivation story). The moment someone posts a low-rating review with some criticism, all his readers jumped onto him and basically start harassing, heckling and condemning him until he deletes the review.

Thanks to that, the story has a perfect rating of 5.0 even after 58 ratings. Now, the story itself isn't bad, and is actually well written, to be honest, but...I'm not sure if it's fair to go knock down reviewers and harass them if they write a critical or low-scoring review. It seems pretty dishonest. I don't think it's the author's fault even, it's his rabid fans that actually do it, so don't blame the author. Hell, these fans actually go onto other cultivation stories, downvote them (give them one star ratings and reviews) and criticize them. I don't know if it's real, but apparently they do that so that their favorite author and his book can artificially get above them in the rankings, but I don't think that's how rankings work in Webnovel because that's usually Power Stones (that said, that's how it works in Royal Road, I believe?).

Tomoyuki wow, that's wrong, people should have the right to post honest reviews even if it is a bad one. As long as they are being respectful

I looked at the big three harassers accounts, and I'm pretty sure they're sock puppets.
It was funny, they said that I'm a liar and that I twisted things, but when I asked what, they ignored my question or said that the Emperor didn't kill her family.
Was the tone of my review rude? Yes, but not so rude that it was just bullying. I gave examples that showed that I had read as far as I claimed, and I calmy replied to their bashing with kindness.
I have no reason to delete my review, and the author says they don't, so it should stay up, hehe.

Lilliny I think the Emperor thing was a twist, so there's a real evil villain who killed Nana's family - it's a pretty common trope in romance stories - you hate the love interest for "killing" your family, you fall for him anyway, and then surprise! Turns out he didn't kill your family, after all! There's a real evil mastermind behind it. Take revenge on him/her, and then live happily ever after with your love interest guilt-free and no longer needing to antagonize over "sleeping with the enemy".

Gem4Life Well...yeah. It happens. I've seen it happen a lot.

No im pretty sure the ML's dad ordered... ya know what, I'm happy you understood it better than me. I'll hold the L on that one honestly.

Lilliny you don't need to keep getting harassed by people. The fact that you read it and didn't like it should be enough, don't let your anger make you more miserable. Best to leave it.
