I don't know if it just me, but I'm use too the Spirit stone now. I think it unique to web webnovel. That I don't like them changing it to coins. So boring.

Lilliny well if you say SS you automatically think of Webnovel.
When someone says coins, a lot of app comes to mind. SS is unique to WN, and to change it to something mainstream takes away the uniqueness of WN.

Spirit Stones make people think that WN only caters to audience of Chinese cultivation novels, which was probably the case when they had just started, but we all know that's no longer the case nowadays. I think they just want to rebrand themselves for the larger general audience, and the term 'Coins' is much more relatable than the term 'Spirit Stones.'
I personally liked the SS name, coins is just bland.

Spirit stones instead of the term coins is what made me subscribe to WN. This is a unique feature that made WN stand out from the rest.

Meanwhile, on one of other platforms, they changed from coins to Inks so they could have a sense of uniqueness and brand(?).
WN, why change things that are uniquely yours to follow others? 
Rainhasfallen true..i still want SS than coins..as of now when i vote for power stone for every novel it turn out to coins but its not added in SS .so where our coins going to??????can someone explain..this major changes in so damn frustrating.
why not just call those things you get from the pouch coins and the spirit stones, spirit stones?

why need to change?? ss is your mark.. i download WN becoz one of your ss, i personally like it and to show that im support the authors. if u change to coin, then what are the differences yr WN with others? i can just uninstall this app and go to other sources. it is free reading too.. so why do i have to waste my money to buy privileged too? that bcoz i just like to collect ss..the name itself give me spirit to get it.
Do something change? I think coins is ok. Either way it's online currency used to unlock chapters. I'm not fuss by the name. The value system and means of use are they kind of things that'll be of interest to me in this area.
To bad to amount of free got lesser too. But the chapter aren't cheaper and there no big sale right now
My fellow readers i have a question about my free ss stash,i have 1040 free ss and i used qidian as a free user all this time ( I started using webnovel in early 2017, those were great times) . Will my stash replaced by coins or it will be expire on january first ?

Will i don't really care if they want to change SS to coins... What my concern getting free ss ... your can say I'm very very disappointed, cutting the free pts into half... I mean i can't enjoy reading anymore , i can't read all the books on my list because i don't have enough pts to purchase every chapters... It's sucks ....
