Fast pass need to use within 24hrs. If today you unlocked your chapter using this fast pass, then ur coin will still intact, means u can save your coin. But then, if you didnt use it, it will be expired.
For example, today i have 6 chapters to unlock.. I have 7 fast pass and coins.
I use my fast pass to unlock 6 chapter and i still have 1 fast pass left. So, my coins still yet to use. If i didnt use it today, the 35 coins will expired and its very wasting. So i spen it to send gift to any story i like. Since we didnt earn more coin now, compare to the previous version, then the coin only started to reduce. I dont think this version is more better compare to the prev one.
We cant even see how many the coin supposed to be expired today ..

RMuskaan honestly though!! I really like this app and I've been using it for almost 2 years now but I'm seriously thinking of dropping it just because of how unfair all the new updates are. And these fast pass things expire so quickly! I feel like they're trying to push all of the loyal readers away. That and I bet in some of the future updates they're going to put ads between chapters but with no reward. Kind of like how on game apps after every level they give you a mandatory ad before you can continue playing. It's just sad to see the app falling apart. :(

This is honestly unfair, I really like this using this app and I've been here for almost 2 years now but I'm seriously thinking of dropping it just because of how unfair all the new updates are. And these fast pass things expire so quickly! I feel like they're trying to push all of the loyal readers away. That and I bet in some of the future updates they're going to put ads between chapters but with no reward. MummyMumh yeah and qidian China is already a behemoth there and have been operating for near 2 decades now.
To be honest, webnovel's move is very similar to what Qidian have now but WN is x10 pricey, I still hope WN gets better though because from the way I see it, the new update just doesn't lose free readers but paying readers too, specially the fast past can't be use in privilege move.

Today my coin balance is 1230.
After completing all mission, my coin still 1230.
Some coin will expired i guess, so i need to spend some as a gift to few novel.
Is that mean, everday, from now on, our coin only will decreased and not increased?

Dacendaren Totally agree with you, I'm really pissed and dissapointed with the new changes, I think they should have said that these changes where coming, and apply them at the end of the month, cause now I spend close to $30 on buying coins and privileges this month, for now I can't read any new chapters, cause fast passes doesn't work with privilege chapters. So now I'm only forced to buy more coins so I don't waste my privilege, cause apparently even when I reach the reading goals I would get no coins. I don't even understand what is going on anymore. But for sure after this month no more privilege for me

Cantiara may be I am wrong, apologies in advance, but you do realise that reading complete premium books here collectively costs minimum of 100USD or above depending on chapter cost and number of chapters. Let's assume the paperback of the same book is available (though most aren't) would it sell for $100/$200? When one pays a small amount as installments one doesn't realise how much collectively it's costing. Few books deserve that kind of pricing.

So we're paying 3 times retail price.
