on the 24 of dec.. they have an xmas bonus on my top-up.. i'll wait what that is but for sure, i'll now be spending so little time here because im already searching for some alternative apps. still can't let go yet as im reading some original novels
Fast Pass and Spirit stone/ coins🤨
PapaReaper Very true. It’s pricey and almost all the novels are incomplete on several thousands of chapters, which is super expensive when tallied up. I calculated 1 of my novels to cost US$400 if I paid for every chapter! Qidian is cheap and affordable in China because they have the market numbers to support it and because of cheap labour. To translate a chapter is costly for them as you need to pay translator and also probably an editor and not at China labour rates.

They have basically removed our ability to stockpile SS or coins. We’re limited to fast passes, which must be used within the day, and which enables us to read (free) only 4-7 chapters a day. EDIT: it’s 7 days.
As for buying coins... until I see fewer complaints regarding glitches, I will wait and see....
Jeshmin I agree....
Jeshmin I agree....
KhadijahMakoul dude, you're basically telling them to chase on that other website you're reading from!! your action can have negative effects on that website!!
you better edit and do not ever mention other website where you can read all these stories from!!

That's true. I'm not gonna argue with you about your statement because a web novel does indeed contain unnecessary fillers. The comparison above is just based on the amount of words, which is exactly my point: You simply can't compare a completed paperback and a completed web novel. They are two different kinds of entertainment.
So not gonna argue with you there. Now, let's go back to the fillers topic since you brought it up. A web novel is indeed draggy, some contents are not important at all, without those contents, the main plot device will still be moving.
But...
Fillers are just part of a web novel because long-running stories are exactly what their business model is based on.
It's just like a soap opera which TV stations are benefiting from its long-running concept. More viewers hooked to it, more advertising revenue they will get. And these soap operas contain fillers too, to keep their plot device running. Now, the viewers of these soap operas know about those fillers, and yet they still watch them.
The same goes for web novels. Web novelists are paid based on the amount of words they can produce. So, of course, there will be fillers. How else could they keep a story running for hundreds or thousands of chapters? Knowing all this, there's still a market for it. It's just a form of entertainment and you can't dictate what people like. You may think those fillers useless, but there are people who like those fillers, just like there are still people who like the over-the-top and farfetched plot of a soap opera and keep watching them. So, yeah, a web novel may have a lot of filler chapters, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are useless and of no values. As long as there's a market for them, they have values and can be monetized.
Those who can't stand fillers should not read a web novel and should just buy a complete book and read that instead. They shouldn't make this an argument just because they don't want to pay for it. If they don't want to pay for this kind of entertainment, then by all means, stop using this platform and look for another type of entertainment that suits them.
But if you complain about the fillers, and yet you still read a web novel, it means even those fillers serve as entertainment for you. So, if you're entertained by it, it's only right that you pay for it. If you claim you're not entertained by it, but still reading it on pirated websites, this means you just don't respect intellectual property rights that the content contributors here have. In that case, then I have nothing to say.
Jeshmin yes I agree m nt able to understand ths new system and a lot disappointed....I liked the ss method I really hope web novel cn change bk the system
