It's a honey turmeric latte sort of morning so that's what I'm rummaging in my kitchen on my ONE day off a week.

Today I drank jasmine green tea and sencha.
All the same, green tea goes very well in hot and sunny weather!
I had a lavender latte from one of my college age favorite shops today. Very small but hipster looking shop, the kind featured on beautiful instagrams. To be fair it has a gorgeous natural upcycle patio.
I stopped drinking it for almost 3 years bc I felt it got watered down. Today was delicious. Of course during covid time I could only get it to go.
Lavender latte, preferably served strong with alt milk (I got whole milk today bc I was lazy but you can always customize. )
THEN I WENT HIKING (expected 2 hours) AND MY COUSIN ALMOST FAINTED FROM OXYGEN DEPRIVATION and we stayed out there over twice as long in the hot sun slowly helping her back up. Maybe I should have gotten more caffeine.
My wife's tea supply is finally dwindling because we're home all the time! She had a huge collection of random teas that she bought whenever we went to a different tea house.
Finally seeing some empty space in one kitchen cabinet, lol.
kazesenken I support ur wife and the tea cabinet
CCmei
Don't get me wrong. We both drink tea. It's just that it accumulated since we were never home to drink it.
There are some from who knows how long...
CCmei Rooibos is better to drink, it contains both sucrose and caffeine but does not increase pressure. 100 grams costs $ 7.5

It's a matter of opinion and availability?
Rooibos is not a popular nor commonly available option in many stores where I live. I'm sure we live in different areas. Then there are the different types of rooibos tea- price is not exact nor is taste.
To say one is better than the other is a biased opinion and not a fact. Practically every tea has its benefits and it's just up to the consumer what they prefer with what they have available.
For example, I like saffron tea as another reader talks about BUT it is not common here and would be very expensive.

I completely understand looks towards the tea cabinet guilty
CCmei Yes, you're right. We have tea deliveries from Russia, China, Indonesia.
My opinion is subjective. But I can’t have coffee, but Roibos can.
There are many types of tastes, it would be foolish to impose my taste on you. Since you live in your climatic conditions and I in mine (temperate zone). Yes, and we don’t have many of the finest varieties of tea that I saw in Vienna or Beijing or Osaka.
Since Iran and sanctions were lifted nearby, Afghanistan also began sending saffron for export. Then we have its price lower than say in Europe or Asia.
Yes, you can buy saffron in Russia.
1 gram = 10 dollars. So you can safely drink saffron tea (you can only drink it for 30 days in a row if that).
I like to drink - milk oolong, jasmine tea, sencha, matcha, thyme herbal tea, currant leaf tea, black long leaf tea from India (I don’t know the variety, it’s called on the box).
You probably like other tastes.
But I repeat, I can’t caffeine, and the rooibos that I drank gives me energy (coffee), energy. I liked this taste. We have 1 jar worth $ 7.5 for us, the price of tea with an average salary of $ 150-200 is relatively high. Usually they drink tea at a cost of 30 cents - $ 4.5 per 1 kg. And then a jar of 100 grams - $ 7.5.
Teas are not so branded, but so ordinary.
It’s like in India, you think you can buy loose tea in a small town, but in minimarkets, only the Taj Mahal (tea dust) is sold. At the same time, there is a big bazaar in New Delhi where you can wholesale the most exquisite leaf tea in India.
So I share your opinion. You have your own taste, I have your own.
But I really liked the rooibash that I drank. Unusual taste! I haven’t drunk this before! Very interesting taste.
If anyone wants to send me saffron tea that would be great T_T
In the meantime I can only go blah blah blah about the local teas I can get.
My mother is not my tea soul mate- all she does is make me make her stuff and complain to the point of gross burping and vomiting. The zodiacs are a lie- we don't really get a long.
If you don't like my ginger tea then ok, stop asking me to make it.
Tea is good, I like anything black or green. But my favorite one is African Roobios then again any Roobios tea is great. Then again I wouldn't say no to Darjeeling Tea either:) And yes I also love classical teamilk, tea boiled in milk. Bubble tea isn't that bad either:)
The only tea types I cant stand is fruity flavored ones. That's simply xxxxxxx.
CCmei +100
Back to ginger and lemon. Think I used too much lemon this time... Added a spoonful of honey to tame dat sourness. I usually don’t add honey but hmhmyjyhihmhmhnyas dat hit da spot
Also: don’t be lazy and take the skin off your ginger lest it’ll end up stuck in your throat eugh
Ginger? Sounds optimistic! I'll try to drink tea with him.
So far I have been drinking rose hips, and have drunk sencha, well, the taste is not familiar ... I like milk oolong so far more
Today I had a long fermented tea of honey, grains and- ok I lied- the tea fermented too long and turned to whiskey.
I'm running out of good tea at the office- i need to get more. I'm back to drinking jasmine tea at the office. I did pick up more boba for some friends and family. A lot of them ironically like jasmine boba milk tea.
Send me tea please- I still die each and every day at work
We have a mysterious box of green tea in the cabinet- no one knows who it belongs to.
I'm drinking chamomile tea right now. And so he drank all kinds of teas all day - rose hips, currants, blueberries, herbal teas. Now I drink Georgian water - Nabeglavi! Very tasty water!
CCmei finders keepers ;)
CCmei just pick one and announce to everyone that you're going to drink one. I'm sure the owner will come to save the tea. Hehehehe

Today was treated - The Tao of Tea, Organic green tea with bergamot, green Earl Gray, it has an interesting taste. I tried some other Bilochun tea. Well ... the taste is also for everybody.
But I liked the Tie Kuan Yin light oolong, the taste is pleasant.
Plain red tea, chilled overnight. The weather is too darn hot sometimes.
twirls in like the tea mushroom fairy
So like, my aunt gives us the expensive chopped up tree mushrooms forages from the wild jungles of S.East Asia or something blah blah blah. My mom soaks them and puts them in a slow cooker overnight. It's supposed to be a very healthy Chinese tea and drank hot , maybe with gogi berries and jujubes if you have a sweet tooth (like me)
If you're also like me you're a heathen and have it iced.
CCmei we’re all rightful tea heathens right now. No way I could drink anything un-chilled or un-iced in this weather, gosh. tOO HOT I’M DYING
ihateyounot I like tea.
Kristina1999 me too including honeyed boiled water
Kristina1999 me too including honeyed boiled water
I drank orange tea with mint today. Then the green "Yellow Monkey."
I am so sleeeeeepy. I am a heathen.
Tea is my happy place, tea is my true love. Tea is my ML.
But coffee keeps me going cries in NTR
yaoyueyi pretty.. pretty.. pretty..
CCmei I know right, I used the delivery food service to get milk tea from my favourite vendor but then I tried to make my own boba milk tea, it taste 80% similar from the shop.. haha I even make my own boba pearls
ihateyounot uhm, I hear you. Just got back to my home country and now I'm doing a 14 days self quarantine. Fortunately I brought some tea stash with me, hopefully it can last for 1 month. Almost had a fight with immigration officer cause they wanted to confiscate my tea
ihateyounot Is it flavouring or you added lychee inside your tea?
Yuyumamoru Use a strong black tea and you can use brown sugar syrup to make your milk tea taste similar like store bought milk tea. I use glutinous rice flour to make my own pearls instead of tapioca flour. Those pearls stays soft when i use them to make brown sugar bobba ice cream.
Xincerely I usually use cold mineral water since tap water here isn't safe for drinking.
melonbread Whaaaatt? Your own tea plantation? Its difficult to find a good quality tea here, my sisters told me I need to buy them online from overseas.
ihateyounot me.. me.. mee.. I want some good quality matcha
ihateyounot momo oolong
