Oh agree everyone has different standards and also agree that people really shouldnt promote pirating cause it costs anything, little or alot is immaterial.
What I disagreed with is the suggestion to find other stories because the quality of the one you want to read isn't up to snuff, as payers for a service, it's not unreasonable to complain about a slip in quality of what you pay for.
Now yes those early chapters can sometimes be an indicator of what you will eventually pay for, but this situation tends to trip up if translators get replaced on stories. Theres tons of books on here that get dropped and picked up by someone else, the first 100 chapters could be done by an PhD in English language, but chapter 101 on could be translated by the village idiot.
Like I say, its not an arguement of for or against paying, it'd just be nice if the consumer had some way of ensuring the above situation doesnt crop up where quality goes all over the place.
