Webnovel's always making new features, so whatever difference there is is developed over time, not exactly a sudden split all at once. The contract should still be pretty much the same (correct me if I'm wrong, I only signed a contract way back in 2019 so dunno if they have a new contract) but they are also working with EMP to offer a non-exclusive contract to authors, which has its pros and cons as well.

Some badges are clear as to what you need to do to earn. Others are very confusing. I think sometimes there are too many moving parts to try to just read great books, that it ends up being frustrating and a turn off.
