researching legendary creatures that have something to do with ice or snow. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
Mythical creatures related to the ice element
ice phoenix, ice dragon, snow wolf/snow fenrir, yeti (Just take your regular creatures and add snow, ice, frost before them. they are bound to fall into some mythology)
Frost Giants?

Well a small list.
Yuki Onna, - Frost woman, a spirit that lives in freezing places. It is said that the spirit brings the cold to the area.
Wendigo - Imagine a feral bigfoot that only lives in cold places.
Akhlut - A wolf orca hybrid. that lives in the frozen tundra.
Barbegazi - It's close to a cold version of a leprechaun, not necessarily bad but can be cruel
Nuckelavee- This is a fun one, they only come ou in the winter because during the summer the Sea Mither, or spirit of summer, can block them off. They are a mix of a centaur and a minotaur (think 4 legs + arms and horns) and they have no skin. They are also supposed to be extremely vicious and bring famine where they go.
Quick edit: Another option is to use anything that has to do with hell. Many cultures believe that hell is a frozen wasteland instead of the scorching place many cultures are used to.
Elementals can fall under that category, so can golems. Both of those can have druidic origin (in a way). Adding "snow" or "ice" in front of anything, will not make them mythical or legendary. Wendigo is a creature attributed with snow... although wendigo is a bit dark. Besides dragons and some giants, you'd be better off borrowing from water attributed legends, as there are many more of them. Water is basically liquid ice, hence you can make connection. With that you have stuff like hydra, water serpents, nymphs, mermaids and so on. It depends on what you are trying to achieve really.

This link will take you to a small list of creatures attributed to coldness.

Frost Dragons?
Ice ghouls?
There's a lot of things you can think about Ice Elementals. Or rather, why not combine any creature with ice attribute? That would make them look original... I guess...
