If a book needs a few days to be vetted, then what about books that are published for contests? Where they have a limited amount of days to amass a following and get power stones? All authors who published on the first few days of the contest would have to wait much longer to get any stones. And authors who didn't start on the first day of the contest, or maybe didn't have 4k words yet would be behind authors who published first? To an extend any author who doesn't publish on the first day of the competition already has days taken away from them, but now they would even more days on top of that.

If your story is new, it is going through a vetting process (making sure people follow the guidelines). It can take a few days, so be patient. Reaching 4-5k words can help the process go faster. But, you have to wait and keep posting like regular, the powerstone option will come.
