If you don't want to pay for Privilege, you still get to read the chapters if they are released at their normal schedule. The only reason why you would buy Privilege is because 1. you're impatient and you want to read ahead because you can't wait to see what happens next or 2. you want to support the author. Or both.
Otherwise you'll read the chapters as they are released according to the author's schedule.
