So, yeah, boredom strikes again and this is my second time posting in the forums. I was wondering if anyone could suggest to me some novels with:
-Mystery/horror/suspense/thriller genre
-It's fine with me if there is romance as long as it is not too much
-I prefer originals but if there are translations with no bullshit grammar then suggest them to me
-Decent grammar (understandable)
-I'm fine with sub-genres of the genres stated above
-Female lead, male lead, fine by me.
-I want novels with minimal cliches as possible
Note: Maybe if I like it, I will give a honest review in the most respectful way as possible as long as the authors don't act all superior and abuse their deleting power.

Ok here I am again with my one and only recommendation:

    The Earth is online

Its a translation and its on nu, not wn but its just good

Also dont let the BL tag drive you away because its only minimal, just as minimal romance in normal stories
Its just such a good novel, the games in there give you a lot of suspense, the whole concept in general
Mystery, a bit of thriller and horror, (bits of gore) all included

Alternative, if you like try my story 'wicked reincarnation'
Its fantasy with bits of gore tho, so hmm not sure how to categorise it, its quite dark and its a revenge story

_Goodies_ Okay, my first recommendation is Reverand Insanity
It has cultivation as its premise but damn, everything about this book is peerless. I can't summarise it in a couple of sentences. The synopsis doesn't do it justice, dor does its initial chapters. But, from chapter 30 onwards, it picks up the pace and never gets boring. It is a dayum thriller that will give you goosebumps on various escalating levels.

My second recommendation is Lord of the Mysteries. It's initial chapters are dry and aren't exciting to be honest. But, as you proceed further, the plot really unravels itself and you begin to appreciate the initial chapters where many things are inconspicuously foreshadowed. After 200 chapters, it picks up pace as the plot thickens. This is one of those books that gets progressively better as you read.

These two books are the only webnovels that I can recommend. They are really consistent with everything they have established and never has a single boring moment in them.

I would also like to nominate an original that is up and coming, Psychic Parasite. It is an interesting read, with a unique plot (But, there are only 80 chapters at present). The story is also fresh with complex storytelling, its vibe being dark for the most part. It is a book that I have enjoyed the most. So, you can definitely check it out.

Ooh, sounds interesting. I was able to read Lord of Mysteries and it was great with some boring parts at times. I'll check out Psychic Parasite. Thanks for your suggestion.

I see what you did there! ;)

But yea, I TOTALLY agree. Loved both reverend insanity and lord of the mysteries, and would totally recommend it.

Title: My Job In Another World Is ???
Synopsis: Hiro shizuki, the strongest S-rank hunter sacrifices himself to defeat the boss of a SS-rank dungeon. After death he is asked by the god to create a game character. Then the god reincarnates him in another world as the character he had created.
How will Hiro spend his life as Zack Elliott in the new world and learn the secrets about his body

If you are okay with a very short read that is purely for a quick 2minutes of fun. I would like to recommend my Dark Fantasy WARNING: I update infrequently on it as it is a little side project for fun, but I am actually in the talks with a friend of turning it into a short little webtoon on the side.

        Welcome To The Night Circus.

Excerpt: "I caught her in the east Indian sea and captured her against her will. Once you capture a mermaid against their will, they cannot leave without a rescuer. But see it is a trick, for they can only be rescued by drawing their rescuer in with their lull."

        "Why is that their downfall?"

"A mermaid's lull is how they obtain their magical power, but once they start the lull, they get consumed by their own greed, and the human soul they called to save them instead is devoured."

"For once they shed a tear of pity for her pain, humans turn into the little diamond-like scales you see. Their soul ripped from their body to become one with the very thing they were supposed to free, both of them slaves to their own stupidity."

True, the art is incredible but the story is lackluster and boring. The summoning ability is cool but what light novel/web novel doesn't have that. Honestly, the only reason it's so popular is because of the amazing art and the protagonist being badass.

Piggy sorry did I miss something? What do you mean by art? Does EO have art?

Well, I'm a big fan of Agatha Christie's novels and so, there you have it! It's not here however but you can read online (PDF) if you don't have a copy of the book.
