Oxy i heard that it's not cheaper per chapter price but the translators are bound to a contract that they are to sell their translation to qi and it is not up to them to set the price. Btw, they had to put down their patreon links too for the premium system, so, it's pretty harsh on them too.

If it's true, then technically it's qidian's fault that make the translator earning go down. The one who forces the contract is not the reader, it's QI. The one who forces to bring all the novel to single platform are they, it's business, they knew the risk they are taking, and they still got other plan just in case. How the market respond is up to the reader.

With patreon translators receive the money directly. With premium the money goes first to Qidian, and Qidian will decide what they will give to the translators.
With patreon I can read 1 ~ 2 chapters peer days, with premium I can read one chapter per week.
About premium being cheap, did you at least do the math? Or do you shit gold?
You guys seriously would rather support people who STOLE the chapters and uploaded somewhere else, than the translators themselves? You would support a thief instead!?

Cytric i dont remember which thread i read few hours before, but one of the big guys said that, until the bonus ss from the ss package ran out, payment according to ss given to a novel will still be put on hold, and when the paid ss are used will the revenue being split and shared between the translators and authors of their corresponding book. Btw, i heard the 200% bonus will be remove soon. Not that buying them now can be good for users tho, bonus ss expire fast.
Oxy I read more than free SS can't pay. And I did not ask if you got a job or not, I asked if you did the math to find out how much the premium actually costs. You should do the math, not only would you realize that this crap is more expensive than a physical book, but that you are also required to buy without stopping, because if you stop, you run out of chapters to read for weeks or months.
