Does anybody know what qidians pay system on their original Chinese site is? Is it about the same cost wise with this site?
Do you guys think we’ll be able to buy the right to read the rest of a book so that we don’t have to buy the spirit stones at huge prices to finally be able read one book. I mean if I have to buy 50 dollars worth of spirit stones to read part of a book I’ll go mad.
Here is what I got from the official Chinese Qidian App on iOS.
You can buy "points" with real money.
The points are spend to unlock chapters.
Some novels I choose as example:
Library of Heavenly Path
Currently 1089 Chapters.
Free Chapters: 1-146.
Chapter 147 takes 10 points to unlock.
Herding Gods ( or whatever the Wnglish name is)
Currently 586 Chapters
Free Chapters: 1-146.
chapter 147 takes 15 points to unlock.
Release that Witch
Currently 1067 chapters.
Free chapters: 1-96.
Chapter 97 takes 11 points to unlock.
So points needed also probably depends on word count.
Chinese Qidian has little amount of free chapters.
International Qidian has a lot more free chapters.
Prices of premium points on International Qidian is higher because of this.
And you can earn free premium points on Internation Qidian.
I dont know wether you can earn points on Chinese Qidian for free or not.

Man every time I imagine being able to read the Raws I get shivers up my spine though deep in my heart I know the day I can read the Raws is the day I lose all contact with the outside world, till I either become broke or lose my mind from all the reading.
I hope qidian international works out in the end because having to lose all the books I’m reading on this app would be depressing considering I’ve been reading some of them for years now. I also hope that they can lower the price for the spirit stones because at the rate it’s going I’ll have to spend hundreds of dollars to read a book.
Ichor You don't have to drop them... Free chapters will be released as well... For example, TSS used to release 14 chapters a week. Now, it does 7 free chapters and 7 premium chapters. You'll still be able to read chapters, without paying anything, however, you'll just have to wait a bit for the chapter to be released.
Yeah. This is the biggest difference between Qidain China and Qidian International.
Chinese Qidian wont release locked chapters, you HAVE to spend points to unlock it.
While Qidian International still unlocks one chapter/day. And you can also earn points for free.
I’ll just have to be patient then.
I guess, I'm going to have to learn Chinese..... I have so many books I love, and if they turn into premium... not enough spirit stones or allowance to read them.
A note to the Webnovel team, translators, authors, I thank you for all your hard work, and I can't help but to be sad about premium as a free reader, but I've accepted it, as I know you all need to get paid, and these are your jobs. For a year, I was content, happy with my books. Thanks for those times.
