I mean not necessarily. If you write a book about cultivation then you attract certain readers , a book about systems attract different readers and a book about isekai attracts different ones. Yes a lot of these readers might also read other content. One person doesn't necessarily like one genre. But a person who likes fantasy novels might not like romance and so on.
Therefore the reader demographic varies based on what you write.
Personally I'm writing a very unique type of genre: a no action, no romance, slice of life type novel. Now you can't say that people who come here to read cultivation novels will want to read my work necessarily. But there is no guarantee, there might be people who like my novel too. Which is why I have no plans of comparing my collections to someone else's.
A lot of novels here are similar, in that regard the reader demographic should be similar too. But if they don't catch a reader's interest or aren't extremely popular doesn't mean they aren't good.
Popular doesn't always mean good. And I'll say this for webnovels and traditionally published novels too. So comparing yourself and feeling bad is kind of not okay, since your work might be good but just not popular.
