  • Where did the Good stories go?

I want to know why all the good trial read stories end up disappearing and never to be seen again. While all the stories that most people can't be bothered to look at get translated?

BreeTG changed the title to Where did the Good stories go? .

Only one novel can survive. The rest get sent to purgatory, usually never to be seen again. And if they do, it would only be many months later in another revival match with other popular unchosen novels, with only one coming out on top. And the revival round has only happened once in the half year the trial novel system came out, and it happened not too long ago. Maybe a few weeks ago. An exception would be Almighty Video Game Designer which was picked up by a translator because they wanted to translate it even without getting paid.

Unfortunately, the list that doesn't make the cut are dropped for English translation. Whilst they continue to exist on the native language site, it won't be seen here. Or they maybe picked up by machine translation.

Those stories that you say most can't be bothered to look at are probably popular with the masses I guess. I'm pretty sure they do have a system of sorts for how they choose what to continue releasing, so the ones that stay must have been popular in some manner of speaking. Whether they are judging by popularity with the original release, people who actually pay here, or something else.

Every time I look at the title of this post, I hear the fairy godmother from shrek 2 singing 'I need a hero', that line about where have all the good men gone.

          Idk. I just hear it.

itsmeTuba You're making me want to watch Short Circuit... Well, I think it was part 2. Meh.

Sometimes, they're quietly added with no fanfare...I've run across 2-3 titles I saw in the trial reads that didn't make the cut but have a whole lot more than 60 chapters...
