Hello, I'm SG2905. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one to become troubled while Searching for appropriate words for my ideas. I'm a person who speaks more than a couple of languages but the words I want for my script, I can't find them simply with my miniature brain. I just wanted to know how long does it normally takes to write a whole chapter for other writers.
Help me.. I'm concerned

Hello! My name is Cringe, for me it takes me about 6-10hrs just to write a whole chapter with 1.5k words. Thats why I usually update every other day or sometimes once a week. Haha. How about you? How long does it usually take you?
PS: same, english is not my first language. Sometimes I do find it hard to search for the right english words to use in my story.

It really depends if you already have what you want to write in your mind.

Write it even with basic words and grammar first then edit it and find synonyms later to polish it.

Editing a chapter is taking most of my time than writing.

SG2905 Ohh, thats quite a headache. Haha. I tried working with a lot of stories at the same time but ended up just confused at all of my plot.

Writing 1000 words usually takes me 20-30 minutes. My wpm is around 30-50, but I have usually also planned what is to happen in the chapter before I begin writing it. It is just putting the words down on "paper."

A chapter for me is 1000-2000 words long, depending on the novel I am writing.

I write my chapters, and when they are done I edit them in Grammarly. In total, I do spend around 30-40 minutes on every 1000 words.

However, I spend quite a decent amount of time planning instead. My planning is split into different phases, if you are interested, I can try to go through the process.

In my case, 2200 words take 1 hour and a half. If I'm in a good condition, I can write about 13.000-15.000 words/day but it only lasts for 2 months.
