Anyone have any ways to do stats that aren't the generic numbers way.

I was thinking of using letters like E-A where in order to move on to the next rank you need to go from 1-5, e.g E1-E5 then to D1-D5 and so on.

Anyone have any other ideas I want a simple system for stats and not sure how I should do it?

    -colours on a spectrum like from lighter to darker.
    -a star constellation that grows and gets stronger with each star. The characters individuality and their path also gets more flashed out with each star.
    -Maybe a curse, that the magic slowly transforms the body while it is active.
    baybe it starts with the hand and creeps up the arm, so a strong character would even have parts of their face changed while someone weak only has a dot on their hand.
    The „curse“ or however you call it could even tie into your system.
    Maby depending on what magic you use it begins somewhere different like your stomach and looks different or it is some kind of armement that only appears while casting.
    -many you also have something floating behind you, a rune formation or an orb many even a creature that grows more complex/stronger the more you advance.
