I've lost many interest on this app right now, many novels i found very nice are dropping like flies, such as Tales of herding gods, Abyss Domination, Doomsday wonderland, Way of the Devil, etc.. You need to stop doing this, if you are gonna do something, do it to the end, and also if you are gonna drop a novel, atleast tell us about it, dont just disappear or tell in your discord server, not everyone in this website use discord smh. If you dropped a novel because it was losing popularity, you are the reason why! You made your own app too diluted with new novels you kept pumping out every week making the older novels drop in popularity, You need to reduce the rate of newly translated novels and focus into finishing the novels and promote the old novels in the front page. If you want to release new novels, your trial system is already perfect but read the reviews and dont just randomly select novels, dont hesitate to eliminate candidates if the reviews are unfavorable.

That's the authors' fault, not Webnovel itself.

AxlSLL what do you mean it's the authors' fault?
Webnovel is the one dropping translated series partway, people are losing faith that Webnovel will ever finish a series, the main translation community hates Webnovel enough to support aggregators, and they consistently value quantity of translation over quality.
The newer novels have such a diluted and disillusioned reader base that there is virtually no way for those novels to remain profitable. Now perhaps they have reworked their payment model to translators reducing marginal translation costs, but that's going to deteriorate quality as well.
Sincerely a salty CN novel fan.

If it was like INETBAMATTTF which the author actually paused, then it's understandable. I think dude meant translators dropping it.

I can agree to this one of the novels I was reading Douluo Dalu 4 was pretty good and it was far from catching up to the raws. However while popular it's revenue was affected by fast passes and the fact that the previous novel in the series Douluo Dalu 3 hadn't finished yet by the time DD4 came so most readers of series were waiting for DD3 to finish before moving on to 4, but cause of that it was dropped due to revue issues.

Also feel that fast passes are a big factor as most novels are dropped cause of revenue and fast passes can affect that majorly for new novels. Take a novel which releases two chapters daily with the fast passes you can earn daily you can literally read the latest chapters for free everyday this means that the new novels aren't earning as much revenue as they should.

Instead of dropping the novels webnovels needs to change how it does things to make them more suitable. It would also be better not to drop the novels completely so they might be able to make a come back.

I rarely read translated so I didn't really pay any attention but damn if their business practices are a driving factor as to why the translations end up dropped then they should really screw off on banning others from translating. If what you say is true it seems like a case of throwing a bunch of sh*t at the wall, taking only what sticks, while preventing anyone from touching what didn't.

I think webnovel should really limit they're novel output a bit. They should let us vote but only pick up the novels if they reach a certain number of energy stones (like 1 Mio). So it's up to how many people vote regularly for it to get it picked up earlier. Other novels will need longer. And there should be more to choose from.

reb1 yeah they force-pick two new novels every time doesn't matter if we want them or not
