Yes but you need a contract with webnovel and you will be giving up the rights to your book

No. There's a chance for payment if you commission a story on a contract. Writing isn't a hobby that earns decent money for the majority. It's better to consider writing as something for fun.

If your story gains enough traction and gets noticed by an editor you can be contracted. That's what happened to me and although I make little money the biggest authors I heard can make like up too 100k a year. Crazy man...

Yes. that is of you have a contract with them. Otherwise, I don't think writing will pay.. I suggest just writing as a hobby for the moment, and see and wait if you get attention on your story...

To get a contract you have to have a minimum of 4000 words posted in a story (and that's just to be considered.)

If you create an account on Inkstone.webnovel.com and link it with your webnovel profile that you write under, you can use the link in Inkstone to join the author discord. They will answer ALL your questions there and explain the whole process so you can decide if you want to try. That's the best way forward. You don't commit to it by joining the discord. it's just an easy place to get all your questions answered by Editors and experienced authors.

crystaldumashie15 To be honest I'm not sure how long it'll take to get their attention, since I already got a contract before publishing on WN.... I'm sorry if I'm not much of a help.
