Extra info: Like I said, this story does not have any sort of system of cultivation mechanics. There is a progression in power and strength but it's less...RPG style. Not that I dislike them, I just can't write them without making it boring. So...sorry if that's not your taste. Not to mention my main focus on the story are the characters and their struggles, both internal and external. Not sure if i managed to tock all the points in your list but well, it is what it is.
As of today, there are 10 chapters uploaded (including prologue and excluding the disclaimer in the start). My plan is to update the story with one chapter a day (or more if scene demands it) every Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun. And my first arc will be completely free ( which will be around 30-40 chapters).

Monarch of Evernight, City of Sin, Records of the Human Emperor, Guild Wars, and my own novel Rising Dawn :). They all have their unique points that are good for true, long term sit down reads. If you wanted to invest yourself in a novel with actual value, definitely pick one of these. Best of all is the plot/charchater progression, really well done and detailed but the endings can be a little bit of a let down for MOE and COS.

If your looking for a bit more focus on Cultivation but a great character progression; less war and kingdom building, then Perfect World is a great one I'd reccomend. Also another ending that does not satisfy but it definitely is a page turner!
