I saw on my profile that I had 1 fastpass left but I didn't see any available to use fastpass in the novel I was reading.
When clicked on the fastpasses section to see earned history, I saw one of them, the one earned from daily check-in, is "teen genre specific" instead of "all-works fast pass", which means that fast pass will only work on a teen genre novel 😑😑😑

EDIT: Happened again today. I guess it's going to be a daily thing.
But also, did any of you randomly get a free-24h read day?!? I got one yesterday... Maybe this is why they changed the Check-in fastpass?

    Yeah it frustrate me too. I prefer the fantasy genre but can accomodate to use them for other genres. But things like the romance or other crappy genres that I don't read, what would i do with that? I hope it's gonna be a limited time only or something because i quite like the novels here.

    Yep it's pretty annoying. First they remove the 1000 coin fast pass, now this... It's super frustrating. Not only that, but the reward for consecutively checking in for 30 days isn't even a genre specific pass, is a book specific pass... You'd think a one time reward for using the app every day for a month wouldn't be something so useless.

    Plus, why on earth doesn't a fantasy pass work on Eastern fantasy or fantasy romance....

    The fast passes you earn weekly for spending coins are novel-specific. HOWEVER, if you don't like the book, you can wait until the next day to see if something you do like pops up. You have until Sunday morning (if you live in the USA). I just wait until something I like (or Saturday in some cases) pops up.

      I'm not sure why they made this change..... Daily check in doesn't seem lucrative anymore...I mean why for a specific genre? It's just 1pass per day.

      What the heck! Fast pass for specific genre? Oh come on! I'm only reading 2 stories on here! Geez I'm gonna be dead before I get to finish these 2 stories. First they bumped me back 20 chapters and I had to redo fast pass AGAIN. The devs don't care, didn't believe me. Thank goodness it's an AWESOME story. Worse app ever!

      Useless and stupid change honestly. I keep getting romance fast passes from check in. I don't read romance novels so its just a freaking waste.

      I don't know what the previous Genre FO are for. That's the thing I find annoying.

        Easy enough to find out, go to your profile on the app, hit the fast pass tab it lists all your fp and what specifics they have.

            Just make multiple accounts because i noticed new account daily has the all work fast pass
