I think that there were some internal changes in QI, so they don't wanna pay translators for trial books anymore and we'll only get human translation or (at least) editing for chosen novels only.
That's my guess

      Dwarkin So far we have had the opposite, they seemed to put effort into trial read and then let go all form of quality control, like all my beasts are legendary, i had to drop that because of the terrible translation quality after chapter 40.

          Mute it differs from novel to novel, I'd read many trial novels with bad translation, and some novels drop in quality much later. I guess it depends on how much coins they get

            Astral_Ascent the female lead have all 40 chaps cause there has been no new TL novels for them since last to last week. So I don't think there are any new additional chaps coming this week.
            Something is seriously wrong with webnovel right now.

              Max255 We can only hope that they only plan to MTL the novels in trial read and then assign a proper translator to them if they pass the trial.

                  Mute I highly doubt it.
                  If that's the case then they would use human translator from chapter 41,and would ignore the previous chapters.
