Hi, I'm a new writer. I really need opinion on my work.
Novel name is (Rage of whispers)
Psychological thriller, a bit of romance and slice of life.
Here is an excerpt
Now, the concept of a human's shadow defines that the less it is embodied in an
individual's conscious life the blacker and denser it is. Gen was six years old
when she witnessed her mother's death which was quite gruesome and traumatic
for a child her age but according to my investigation, she never showed any
form of emotional instability. She never shed a tear after the funeral or
showed any hint that she misses her parents. Her house keeper was adamant when she said that Gen acted like she normally did even when her two siblings abandoned her. It is safe to assume that innocence can overcome something traumatic
because it can overshadow the gravity and darkness of what's in front of them.
But it also safe to assume that an individual can suppress their emotion even at a young age."
"The idea behind the shadow concept dictates that the shadow is developed and
nurtured in the early stages of an individual’s life. The way i see it, Genelyn
Calderon has been suppressing and numbing herself at an early age. You have to understand doctor Zackary that we are greatly influenced even controlled by the
unconscious forces of our shadow. And if one keeps feeding and failing to
control or unite with their shadow one might find themselves failing to suppress
the power that it harnessed."
Zackary felt at a loss for words, yes he had heard of the shadow concept but what
exactly is the old doctor implying. He decided to keep a mental note of the
questions brewing within him and allowed doctor Mori to continue.
"I believe that her subconscious or ego became powerful where it swallowed her
consciousness and as a result a physical projection of all her suppressed
emotion was created by means of the apparition. As you already know, the human
mind is capable of many things. The. Placebo effect for example allows our body
to repair by the mere believe that something we did expelled whatever we were suffering from.
