    Astralane_Kawaii Please don't do self promotions outside of the two monthly promotion threads unless someone is (recently) searching for a novel which yours fits the criteria of. Doing so is against forum rules set by the moderators as it harms the experience of other users by burying meaningful threads and filling the forums with spam.

        Astralane_Kawaii Too many people do it unfortunately, some can even self promote into 7, 8, or even more different threads and flood the forum, who I will usually leave a 1 star review informing them they are in breach of the rules for the forums when I am present.

        Whilst I don't think this thread in particular is a great crime and I may be overstepping a bit in relation to this one, but others come along and start turning it into a self promotion thread because you posted your link, so they will post theirs.

        "Hey, I will check out your work, how about you check out mine too." etc etc, that kind of thing. Its really any excuse to get their link out. Then one person thinks its okay and copies them and.... well, you get the idea.

        I think you were just on the list of those I spotted when looking at the forums and what was new, so don't think it's anything personal against you. End in all, just consider when posting if it can be used as an avenue to incentivize others to start self promoting.
