MAINID1 Priv is meant to be a premium feature for those who don't mind splurging to get ahead and read more. Imagine it as author/translator going out of their way to prepare a stockiple of chapters while maintaining their usual release rate, and the allowing others to read through their stockpile, for a fee, for a month, in advance.

Imagine other scenario. Let's take a movie theatre with normal ticketing service and a ViP membership. ViP members can participate in early screening of the movies (before they become available for everyone in a normal ticketing service). But even though one pays for the Vip membership (don't confuse it with membership on WN, just using the fitting word here), that doesn't mean you get the tickets for the prescreening for free.

As for the chapters remaining under priv even though the novel is completed, I can only think of three options:
- People responsible for the change are super busy and its suuuuuper low on their to-do list (we have the biggest WN contest going on right now and over 17k new stories for editors to go through. SO FAR.)
- Someone responsible for doing so simply forgot about it
- WN actually is a big scam (despite being backed by the biggest corporation in the fcking world) and they intentionally doesn't change the novel's status to completed to milk that priv money for as long as they can (Its highly improbable in my book, but I'm mentioning it to not be accused of ignoring that stupid possibility)

MotivatedSloth I rather read the last 25 chapter on MTL rather than buy privilage.
