Mediocre_author I reviewed it. I will say that the first chapter is really long. It's a lot of prose that makes everything move slower than needed and while I get that we're in the character's head the narrative is too focused on what's happening in excruciating detail over how the character feels, what he's doing and what he's about. Also, that beginning part is strong but it's not really clear what happening whether he's waking from a dream or travelling back in time or being reincarnated. Definitely still generally better written than most stuff in terms of vocab and grammar though.
