Why?

  1. Less troll, scam, and cult messages since it takes much more effort to level up as there are various missions you have to complete.
  2. Higher-level members are more likely to follow the rules. (or at least it would seem like it)
  3. An incentive for users to use webnovel more in general to gain access to the forum.

As good of an idea that is i can also see the purpose of leaving as is. The forum is a help center, wild peanut gallery that we may be, and restricting it to level two might leave less active members out in the cold.

Still is a nice idea for cutting back fly by night member spam.

      GegeSadewa webnovel has its own level system. If webnovel can transfer data of our profile picture, username, etc to the forum, it's likely they can transfer our levels as well.

          Darth_Xiane I don't think it's very challenging to level up to level 2, and there is a webnovel discord to use if not the forum. Knowing that the mods have to do a lot of work, unpaid, to moderate the forum and there is an advent of mass spamming of occult posts (10? 20?), I think safety and less inefficiency for mods who volunteer their time freely take priority.

            I think it's best to restrict the forum for posting and commenting to level 2+ users but keep the novel visible to other users to find relevant information. The newbie can use the forum to find information through the post and suggestion and the forum won't be filled by spams or idiotic messages.

            Honestly, getting to level 2 is not hard for real, non-spam, users. Haha its just my thoughts though

            MimiTea Yeah, but the problem is would webnovel do those "hassle" stuff for them? I think they kinda already neglect lots of good things that could happen.
