Hi everyone. I am currently working on a novel and wanted a partner to work with me since I also am writing another novel. The details are: 1) I have the main storyline or how the story is going to start.
2) The story should be of 2.5K to 4K words/chapter and end the story within 15-20 chapters.
3) You will be paid after the work since it's a collaboration. I will be paying you as I get paid, so it's not a scam.

    6) Yes this is in fact a scam. Unreasonable stipulations requesting someone write your idea and only being paid when (if) you get paid. Had you said REGARDLESS of you getting paid or not this might have been believable, but you didn't thus, yes this is a scam.

    Honestly if you're too busy to write your own story but aren't willing to pay regardless of its reception there's no other way to take this offer than you want free labor to make an implausible idea real.

    Couple that with the fact your account is TWO HOURS OLD there's honestly no basis to trust you since you're too fuckin gutless to use your main account to be held accountable if this is in fact a scam.

      fantasybliss30 Once the novel starts earning. In other words, the guy above has a plot idea (who doesn't) but he somehow believes that its good enough to be earning (or wants us to believe he does) so he just can't be bothered to write it and wants to make others write it.       What you are proposing is no different from ghostwriting. And I'm willing to take part in it.
      I charge 75$/1k words and you have story written by WN veteran. My usual speed of order is 1k words/day or 1chapter per day (as long as its up to 1.5k words standard). If you need me to write more, then you multiply the cost as many times as you need to multiply the daily output. That means, we have 5 days for 15-24k words, meaning, between 3 to 5k words a day, meaning, 225$-375$/day.

      <- this is a legit offer, not the scam you offered above. And a small hint for the future - the more you mention that something is not a scam, the greater the chance it is actually a scam. So unless I see 225$-375$ on my account today, we don't have a deal.

      What's more, try to explain me one thing. If we have authors capable of writing good novels, why would they bother taking up your offer in the first place? They have their own ideas they want to write about. Or rather, tell me something else - if coming up with a plot is all you are capable off, what makes you confident enough to believe your plot is actually good? Or rather, outside of contributing the story idea itself, what else do you do? Because if its just the idea, then its completely and utterly worthless.

            MotivatedSloth I think you misunderstood something. I am currently working on two novels on tapas and when I received the request, I was not free. So I wanted someone to work with me. Nothing more than that.

            Also you had to send the outline of the first 6 chapters and not the whole chapters. If they were given a green signal by the company, they would go on with the story and we will get paid (around 10K).

            I had some influence in the Scripts - story telling app (like branched structure stories), so it wasn't like I was unsure of if I will get paid or not. It was just that I would be able to pay after I get it myself.

            Anyways, thank you for responding. I somehow managed to submit it myself so no worries.

Tales and Scripts pay 10K in advance when it books the whole season. Also please don't interfere in the discussion if you don't have knowledge on what I am talking about. It's like you are just going in the flow without even verifying if this is scam or not. You don't get to decide if things are scam or not. If you still think, after checking out the mentioned sites, It can't be helped.

                        I never said anything about 50K words. I wanted the outline of the first 6 chapters which is around 1800 words. After submitting the outline, the submission goes through approval and then the money is paid in advance.

                        Also I have already completed the submission myself so no need to take this topic any further.

                            I don't think this is the place for a discussion like this. You made the offer, and we're commenting that it does seem like a scam. People aren't just going to jump to write something for you on the vague promise of payment. This is a world of scammers and people don't want to be stolen from.

                            I wouldn't spend 1800 words on this, especially when I can write those 1800 words into my own story. Is there even a contract?

                                    US_DreamerDon Of course I am aware of the fact that it will be considered scam and I have explained them the summary of the whole story. I have only remarked those who are simply speaking without any knowledge.

                                    And yeah, you can write in in your stories but not until you receive an offer from their site. Since it's difficult to get a premium pitch from their sites. I am already an well known author there for around 2 years now so it's not that difficult for me.

                                    And well, this is the forum, so yeah, it is a place for discussion and that too for all kind.

                                    Also, I have already submitted the script so no need to take it further. I am currently finding a way to close this thread (but don't know how to do that).
