Not a huge reader but am hooked on one book. Not a gamer and don't grasp the "coins". Daily check-ins and watching an ad is okay but when I get locked out and have to stop reading is annoying. Don't mind purchasing the book; just tell me how much. Am confused on monthly subscription, coins, bonus coins, etc. Don't want to be nickel and dimed just to finish my book. Have done the 10-15 min quick reads just to get more time on my book. My brain can't handle multiple books at the same time.
How can I read just the book I have selected without coins, locking, ads?
Cindy_R_0700 Coins are used to buy (unlock) chapters. The amount any given chapter cost depends on its lenght. If you want to read more than fast passes allow, you need to buy the coins and use them to unlock the chapters. What's more, if you reach the priveleged chapters, you will need to buy the respective priv tier to read ahead of the normal release rate.
When in doubt if the book is a translation feel free to learn Chinese and just buy a copy of the original.
