I think its a ballooned number for you to gauge on how many people are reading your story. Take into account that Webnovel would balloon that to think that they have so many traffic.

Its No. of Collections × No. of Chaps, however, they sometimes multiply it again with Power stones and other gifts or whatnot.

Do take in mind that this is just my conspiracy but it could very well be true from what I've seen so far.

keulijeu I think the best way to gauge your real view count is by checking the daily data on your novel. You might see the # on your novel go up by 1000 for example but the daily view count records it at 100. Just try adding up the daily view count and you should have a clearer picture of how many views you have

I'm starting to think that the views get more accurate after about ten days. When I first published my first novel, I would constantly reload the page, and often, the numbers would jump by about ten digits. So my idea, is that every time you open your novel, it adds ten digits if you reload too much.
I would recommend checking inkstone because they have the actual numbers.

Do not trust it lol. One real view is equal to about 10-30 views. So 200 views might just be coming from around 5 people.
