you‘re being absolutely disrespectful to 'your' readers. Not all of the paying readers have deep pockets. So you‘re saying you would rather not get the money they are willing to offer? You would rather not get exposure and comments and an occasional gift? Your loss, is all I can say. Depend on the few rich readers you‘ve got, go ahead.

It is clear that all this is to try to avoid pirate websites that plagiarize WN content. But... one of those websites, any of them, makes more money selling those plagiarized novels than paying for the novel in WN even though they are very expensive. Is it really worth it for WN to eliminate the translator, easily avoidable if you have an interest like those pirate companies have, at the cost of losing thousands of readers who do pay for their own enjoyment and not to resell the novels?
In summary, they will gain many subscriptions a few days at the cost of stopping having new ones. Since if there is no free access, people will find out about the new novels directly on those pirate sites and since they will have them there for free and just as advanced, it will be rare here that they come to pay for them just for the love of history (which does not mean that this can't pass)

PancakesWitch i have a medical eye sight problem, so using a phone and even a tablet is a problem, plus webnovels app doesn't let me even fully change fonts etc,
    just because your ok,
    it doesn't mean others our,
I've been sitting on a load of coins for ages due to the fact they, don't care about this problem
and as pointed out due to the fact the novels aren't in basic English or edited,
so please don't say use the TTS system that's crap due to my last point
/facepalm at your self-centred thinking ie your ok screw anyone else ..
but thier will be a day your have a problem

Heos_sandana i remember when webnovel plagiarised content, oh i'm wrong they still do if you look in the right places like at work plus some of the classic novels that's they sold the rights to, then used the other websites translation, plus fan fic that was a carbon copy of well known japanese and koreon novels

[unknown] thats not really how it works, all the chapters you unlocked can always be read, you dont lose anything, these guys are talking shit out of their asses. I've used the system and I know that chapters arent lost even if the privilege is not paid next month. Also, this is also a way to always have somethign exclusive in our site instead of dumping everything in pirated sites, and its your option to pay or not, when a book ends, the privilege chapters are reeleased one everyday anyways.

[unknown] Im sorry for your eye problem, but i dont think that's enough to change the whole site back to the pirate feast it was some days ago. If you understand, thats good, if you dont, thats good too, you can always read elsewhere or something

[unknown] I dont really care if they have deep pockets or not... I am merely selling a product, there is no room for discussion or bargainign here, you either buy it or not.

[unknown] If youre so happy with amazon then go read in amazon instead of wasting your time discussing about "low quality novels" here... You're literally the only one being an idiot here

DaoistS3B8n3 It is a store with free chapters for trial, you're supposed to buy the novel chapters, it was always intended to be this way, you can't argue over facts unless you're completely devoid of common sense

Firenaruto Sorry if you cant pay for hundreds of chapters, but this is not really our problem either, simply put, don't pay and that's it, don't buy. When you can't afford something so meaningless such as a novel chapters (which aren't necessary for your daily life and simply entertainment) you simply dont buy it. We are not really obligued to give you free content, webnovels are not something ensued by the government or something, we are merely writing off our fantasies and sharing them with the public for a price, it is as simple as that. How hard is it to understand and move on?

For sure me and my maa have phones, but the day I am caught reading novels online will be my last day in my house.

The kind of family from which I am does not look kindly to things such as reading online books and the likes of it, this was one of the main reasons I liked using webnovel.

I could just open it up in my laptop on an incognito window and no one would know about it.
For me personally, the option of using the app does not exist.

PancakesWitch it seems unlike me, you in fact have no clue as to how a website or thier hosting servers works or app's
as they have already "gotten" past the anti-pirate system it only took them a day and the posts are everywhere
to change a few lines of code to re-read the pages of the website and the app as you can easily even rip from it via a VM ware system

so once again webnovel has only pissed off readers ( 7 years and counting at doing that very well)
and people like me that have money but its getting to the point I'm happier to let my coins rot, than spend them

I have no idea why, but webnovel is not letting me tag or reply to other users, so I am gonna just write their name

          This is for you PancakesWitch

          PancakesWitch

Are you seriously calling your works 'Products'!!!!
Gosh, I feel sad for your readers right now because from my point of view and understanding, the only reason you continue to write or update your novels is to sell them in order to earn money, you are the one who lack emotions and some other shit you wrote about.
I have seen writers with lesser known works than you having more respect for their works. At least they don't treat them as 'Products.'
They write because they want people to read and enjoy their works, not to sell them.

[unknown] Ok then, dont spend them? What do you expect me to do? cry? I dont really care honestly

[unknown] So youre asking us to not sell our novels when we want to be full time authors? and what about the million other ebooks online being sold? are they in wrong too or only us because we work for webnovel? at this point youre just talking nonsense, everyone is free to sell their own creations. You're simply devoid of common sense to realize this because youre completely incapable of putting yourself in the shoes of others, especially the creators of this site.

Perhaps it would be easier, and economically profitable for the writers and for WN, if for those users who do not have a subscription the web page (PC) had advertising. In the end, unfortunately for all of us, these changes will not end piracy.
