QI started original novels event, but they do nothing to stop plagiarism. Since event started dozens of plagiarised novels - originals are copied from RRL, licensed novels are put under different author and posted here, manga / anime adaptations made into "originals" and not giving credits to real authors.
So I am wondering - does QI plan to degrade themselves even further and allow this or will they start fighting plagiarism?
Also there are talks about QI creating their own new accounts and plagiarising licensed works from other countries.
Hopefully QI can clarify this situation and their stance regarding plagiarism.

    Qvintex QI's standard operating procedures regarding plagiarism is for the original authors to send a DMCA to them before they can take down the novels, or there is little way to prove that the person reporting is legally the rightful copyright owner or not.

    A DMCA can be sent to the email: dmca@webnovel.com

    The DMCA should include the following:
    A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the work’s owner.
    Identification of the original work(s) that you’re claiming has been infringed upon.
    Identification of the work you’re claiming has infringed upon yours.

    A statement that you do not believe the content is authorized by the copyright owner.
    A statement that the information is accurate to your knowledge under penalty of perjury.

        I have to say, for a company that keeps hating on WW and most of the community for "ILLEGAL ILLEGAL" over and over again, you guys aren't making much of an effort to clean up your own website much of all this piracy you supposedly hate

        CKtalon in proper communities Admins remove bad content so that users never see it. Or at least screen it. But if they let plagiarised content reach users, it means they have no respect for users nor any respect for themselves.
        Edit: besides QI themselves bark like dogs about random people plagiarising their content, so shouldn't they stop doing this before calling out others?

            You could find Avenger on youtube if you know how to search smartly

            No big UGC platform will manually check all the content before showing to the audience

                It's just that only the original copyright holder can do a proper takedown of content since there is no other way to prove if the person who posted the content on Webnovel is the original copyright holder or not. By sending a fake DMCA it is at the risk of criminal charges of perjury. Real copyright holders do not need to fear that at all.

                    Well time to copy stories from japanese translated novel, or rewrite some famous japanese manga into novel. No way author will spend time and search this site right? Like that Tokyo Ghoul novel that QI didn't bother about still safe there on this site.

                    Oh how about creating fanfic and then try hard to make it premium. QI can help monetize our unauthorized use of those licensed characters and themes like in China right?

                      Qvintex just say that you've been inspired by those literary works and bullsh*ts such as those were general themes and formulaic plots to begin with. You'd be surprised that you'd just lawyered yourself out of a jiffy. Also use a pen name that states that you're a plagiarist or something, and say that you're being funny. Heck millions of people wouldn't even know that you're actually a plagiarist.

                          CKtalon I think you can give a warning or notice to those who suspicious for plagiarism and make an investigation or check it on your own

                          Sometimes the authors doesn't know that their novel has been plagiarized right ?
