last time it was Doomsday Wonderland chapters that we didnt get for more the 2weeks and even after they started releasing they didnt post due chapt and Now its happening again and its (The Great Thief) ..we arent getting its chap for 1week and im sure we willnt get its due chapt aswell..pls atleast say something or tell what happend dont leave us hanging

That is an issue that needs to be addressed more seriously. If it was fan translation it is ok to bring new releases whenever the translator feels like but in here the editors and translators are paid for their work. There should be a proper guideline for the cases when updates have stopped for over a week or so. Like for example a bonus that can be received only if the translator keeps to the contract schedule?
Also these sort of topics as systematically being ignored. How are the readers supposed to know if a project is still alive if no one answer their questions and usually there is no annoncement from the translators as well?
Dudu_the_3rd Well, they are paid on a chapter basis...So by not doing a chapter, they don't get paid either...
Then what? The readers will get new chapters only when the nearly dead projects' translators run out of pocket money?

Please give me some time, Nerdrage and Bibi! Two things happened to Doomsday Wonderland. Editor disappeared so editor WMX from Gourmet World finally took pity on this novel. And I was in a lot of pain due to a toothache but the bloody appointment is one month later so I didn't have the mood to do shits. I do admit to being irresponsible. How can I just let the dear readers suffer???? But I finally had the wisdom teeth pulled out last Thursday and will get the remaining ones in Dec. @_@.
Is Qidian addressing this? They really did. I swear they seriously hate me now. I begged them to keep me on the project because I really like the story. Am I trying to squeeze out as many chapters every day? YES! Can I reach 160 by end of November? I doubt it. But I should be able to reach 140 with my editor's support.
Is it just for the pocket money? Not really. Some translators didn't choose their own project, but I specifically told Qidian I wanted to translate this because the story is so interesting. I do admit that I sometimes spend too much time mulling over which words to use and how to make the sentence less repetitive and then getting frustrated. Cos I am not a God-level translator like CKtalon.
Why did I ignore the questions? I don't really get specific alerts from the forum. I do answer questions sometimes from the comments. More questions? I'll answer them in the comment section of the novel.
Pluto your explanation and input is most appreciated. Also thank you for working on DW it is wonderful story that I love to pieces 
and am happy that its translator is passionate about it as well.
My intention by posting in the topic was to point a general problem with the site system rather than blaming any particular translator or editor. That is the reason why I did not give any examples and just described the tendency. Even if scrapping the project is not the case for you, it has been the case for someone else. From the perspective of the readers if there is no communication between the two sides it is the same. And it is the same for the site - I am glad to know that qidian actually takes action behind the scenes but they need to work on the feedback issue.
Dudu_the_3rd The Qidian staff are really busy. They have a lot of work piled on them, considering how they are managing about 200 people (translators+editors), as well as administering editor/translator applications, payment for editors/translators, etc.
