I'm writing a book and it's a Fantasy Romance from the ML's POV but there is no Fantasy Romance option nor is there a Romance option and the only way to have my book listed a Fantasy Romance is to choose Female Leading Fantasy but as I said, my book is from the Male Leads POV so idk what to do can anybody help me?
Fantasy Romance
Nyx_666 That's true, I don't know if you might want to change the whole story to FL so you can have fantasy romance. Like me, I write fl romance novel and genre include urban, fantasy so... I don't know if this will help https://dynamic.webnovel.com/book/24301214205410905?utm_source=writerShare&utm_campaign=4321565901

Nyx_666 Few months back someone was asking the same thing. If I'm not mistaken, they said something along the lines like female-leading is for female readers whereas male-leading is for male readers.
If it helps, my book is from a male POV but it's under female-leading urban (contemporary romance).
Cheers!
Yup as perky said male lead/female lead is not meant to describe your mc, rather its one of webnovels less thought out systems to better direct who your reader base would be. While to everyone else on the planet... we determine the setting to describe our mcs
You can still list it under FL romance, as long as the FL has some of the spotlight. There are Works like ‘Taming The King of Beasts’ that are mainly from the ML’s POV, but are listed under FL romance because that’s where the target audience is. I suggest tweaking the book a bit, but still put it under FL Romance. I hope this helped, and good luck in your writing
