    Quhon it would be a lot of work for you, if you write it in your language, i respect your decision but i would suggest a more effective way, if you have enough time and money to spend, just write the chapters in english and hire an editor or you can ask any expert in english to voluntarily help you, if he does help you than you can just enjoy writing your chapters the way you write and leave the grammar work to your editor, if you can't find an editor i suppose you can just do whatever you want...everyone shall respect an author's decision. :thumbup:

      Cobyboy I don't think anybody can cross that mark. Not for another six months at least. This could only be possible when original move become more mainstream. But for now it is just as ridiculous as the 120.000 word count required or the contract.

                  Why bother a separate PowerStone System? Up Till now I didn't reall Care about PS as Top Translated Storys mostly stayed at the top. But now with Original Novels the PowerStones have gained new Value for me (supporting favourite Author/Story),

                  But yeah, the more Storys come in ... the more you want to Support ... The less you can actually distribute ... The Numbers keep getting thinner and thinner, but maybe, this is a good Thing. It might become easier to reach the top but also increase survival of the fittest.
                  What I have also realized is (maybe Just Imagination) that Storys that came since Day1 are more popular or Storys that came later or come in now, have it harder to get recognized. I think that is Natural as older ones could somewhat establish themselves, while newer ones need time (more chapters, Story Progress) to get "Discovered" and recognized and then maybe comes the jump through the DragonGate

I’d recommend revising the current system to allow each user was eligible to vote Power Stones on 2 different types of novels; once a day for the “Translated Novels”, and once a day “Orginal Novels” with the Power Stones of their level. For example: a level 4 user receive 2 Power Stones daily, that level 4 user will be eligible to vote Power Stones two times; 2 Power Stones on Translated, and 2 Power Stones in Original. This would give more authors at least more of an incentive to write.

However the reason I would cite for implementing the change is different. The predominant argument people seem to be making is that it creates an unfair environment which will stymie competition. In my opinion the more important reason to do so is that it will promote discoverability.

                                The easiest proof of this can be seen in Power Stones vs Energy Stones. If you only had a single currency people would simply bookmark their favorite novels, read the most recent chapters, vote and leave, never visiting the homepage or browsing other available novels. However since we have Energy Stones as a currency, it encourages you to visit the homepage, browse through the listed novels and vote among the choices. While some people are flippant with their choices, others discover new novels and become loyal readers. Additionally it means that everyone who participates in voting visits the homepage once a day, something that allows you to announce and promote content.

                                Since we’re arguing for a separation of translated and original works, I think that the new currency should be something different enough to highlight the difference while being thematically similar. For instance something like Formation Flags rather than a different stone. I personally like this as a metaphor because it implies that authors are creating more complex formations as they write, and that readers are making those formations more powerful when they vote.

                                While the name isn’t very important the fact that it directs readers to original content is. Considering it from a site admin position, it means every reader who is trying to earn Spirit Stones will visit at minimum of one translated novel, one original novel and browse the catalog of potential new novels.

                                Since I understand that to implement this sort of change on your server would require some development, I’d like to suggest a further change. Every suggestion, including the one I made above, could be summed up as Power Stone 2, I would further recommend that you implement a second Energy Stone at the same time.

                                To consider Power Stones versus Energy Stones abstractly, it’s the difference between user selected content and curated content. You can vote on any novel you want with a Power Stone but you have three to five choices for an Energy Stone. By implementing a system where your site admins can select and promote novels that fit a certain criteria that readers might not otherwise discover.

                                As an example, you could set a repeating calendar of events. Perhaps the first week of the month you select several novels that have been added in the previous three months, a new authors category if you will. The following week you could promote novels that release a certain amount of chapters the previous month, pushing potential readers towards dedicated authors. You could mix in themes once a month selected using the tags already on the site, such as fan fiction, lady’s choice or modern fiction. Close out the month with a selection of readers favorites that score high in the original leader board, and you have a repeatable yet flexible system that you can use to highlight the hidden talents of your site.

                                I come from an IT background so I understand that these changes can take time and planning to implement, for now I only hope I’ve given you something to consider. Either way thank you for bringing us Inkstone as a platform, I look forward to publishing here.
