      Let's be real. Webnovel is a business. And they care about one thing, and one thing only. Making money any way they can. Now if the increased prices meant more money for the authors, great. But I somehow doubt that. Probably won't even end with increased paychecks for regular employees either.

      Seems like more hassle to me.. if you're changing the FP cost to make it better align with the increased coin cost, and then giving me more "opportunities" to get FP... it seems like I'll have to spend more time doing random stuff to get the same thing (a new chapter to read). Plus, it's more of a pain to keep track of. No longer a simple 1FP=1CH equation.
      Makes me regret locking in for 1yr membership.

        I guess time to read on other places which either do flat rate unlock for all novels instead do this stupid increasing. This is why you guys losing readers left and right.

        @Webnovel_Event so the initial idea of 1 pass per chapter is trashed, as you gave same reason for the coin value increase. and since the event for doubling fast pass is going, does that mean that this event will remain year-long, or will you increase daily fp provided from the login bonus and votes, or the prices will come down to 1 FP once the FP doubling event is gone?

        I cancelled the plans I had, and will not be buying coins anymore until this gets changed back. This is ridiculous, and a slap in the face to readers.

          Increase in content!?? Most the comics I read have 200+ episodes do you know how long that will take to get through? The chapters got cut in half and some are literally filler that put off the plot and make you spend more just to advance the story. Make the chapters long then I'll be OK spending more

            You roped people in, and then pulled the rug on them! It wouldn't be half as bad if the price changes took those existing readers into consideration, perhaps by making it so that adjusted prices only targeted new readers to a particular novel/comic only, or perhaps only affected chapters released from this week onwards; however, the customers aren't worth it, right?

              At least make all FP site wide, then. I have 4 FP right now and I can't use any of them because all of them are for different genres. If 1 FP equals a certain amount of coins it's only fair, as coins are not genre-specific.

                PlumeThistle I agree with this. Even with their 'FP Carnival', it's taken 5 or 6 attempts (several days of 500pts + 1 free-spin-from-watching-an-ad) to convert 1 'genre' fast pass to a 'category' fast pass; not even a 'site-wide'! (Maybe the odds weren't in my favour - shouldn't the odds be published somewhere?)

                Fast passes still expire, so spending nearly a week trying to accrue enough points to convert just 1 single fast pass isn't acceptable, nor is it truly feasible in the long run!!!

                    And now even missions form the mission center don't work.
                    I need ca. 4 plus hours to do the read 15 minutes of a book quest for 2022/1020.
                    Then 3 minutes before midnight Hong Kong time (CEST+6) I could claim the 200 points.
                    Then I started the new reading quest after midnight (CEST+6). Even after reading for 10+ minutes the counter showed zero but I got at least 4 times the 5 points for reading.
                    The app thenceforth knows your reading time correctly. Therefor the quest counter should schow a minimum 7 minutes because time left over from other reading before startening to read the books form the challenge.
